I know the advantages to a wereform, but what are the disadvantages. Is there any?
Oh Yaah there are some disadvantages, but you get use to them.
1) In Freeport Pike will turn you into wereform and attack. He is about lvl 50.
Rea will do the same but she usually stays by the academy of Science building.....lvl 60? and a caster...one tough *****!
As long as you have remove illusion or true form ready to cast you are safe, they won't attack if you restore form
2) There are werehunters outside who will do the same...always seems to be one hanging around somewhere outside FW to the east.
3) If you kill Pike too often or werehunters then they will attack you on site and no known way of restoring faction. So I know you will be pissed when they kill you for the 5th time...but run away...dont kill them.
4) Some places like Mordhim and Quenos have NPCs that will give you the mark of evil. Cannt coach for the next 10 min and gives you bad faction so if wander from coach might get killed.
On the other hand great stats etc...that why you want wereform right?.

btw, also aeiric sparelli, lvl 40, and Rea I believe is over 60, not sure though...

There is a trick to coaching thru Moradhim if you are a were.
Pull back on the left joystick while coaching to Moradhim. This will cause your toon to move away from the coachman the instant you arrive and you will NOT get the Mark of Evil.
Then slowly inch back until you can talk to the coachman and off you go!
The NPC that marks you must be behind or to the left of the coachman so this trick allows you to get close enough to the coachman without you being seen and marked.
Also you can get marked in Murnf, but doesn't seem to happen too often.

heh, I wish I did...Its tough for my 30 nec to get gator...I have never found someone willing to help or just do it with me...even for money!

I did ratwere on my 40 mag, and I thought about how coaching was such a pain in the ***, and how I have NEVER went AFK in Freeport, (for fear some moron will run Piker to safe spots, like the coach, or behind the bank) so I stopped playing the character.
I am curious: can all good races go to all evil coaches while in wereform? Can an elf also go to Neriak, Grobb? I haven't tried all evil coaches, but I signed The Last Inn in Mt. Hatespike, in my ratwere form. All happy blue faces! :)
I am not sure if I want to do this to my bard, or go were-hunter, or nothing at all, as faction changes, Piker, yada yada, I am not in love with messing with my toon.
Personally, IMO, at the rate everyone is getting wereform, they might want to rewrite Everquest history and lore. That the entirety of Tunaria and surrounding continents were overswept with a plague of lycanthropy, and everyone was pwned to the fact that everyone was bored out of their skulls with forms. Ok I'm done. lol

A few little thought about bonuses to forms, if I can add them... both Blackwater and Forkwatch are friendly to lycos in their natural werewolf, weregator, etc state, which means that in form you can enter and coach freely from one to the other regardless of your natural form/class. So for those evil toons out there looking to turn in some siloth rings...
Also, wereform faction bonuses, the cultist barrow for your mid-40s quests is totally nuetral except for the rats, summoned guardian and one quest mob, turning what was once a nightmare quest of swarming mobs who are almost always empty into an enter, stroll through and kill quickie (wish I had had form before I soloed my 43s and 45s on my sk, ack) Also, in the Toxx forest, all the hama dryads and such are nuetral faction to weres in form. Try form out and you'll find a lot of places a lot easier to get through. ;)

All you people have been complaining about Piker running to kill and stuff, but the only one whos attacked me EVER is Rea (that bishh). Good advice is to not kill any of the hunters - which was probably afforementioned by someone already.

dam sk trolly cant seem to get gator, id like to get it by 40, monk has wolf, only **** werehunter that bugs me is rea nutsonchin... er neckchev and sometimes the ones by fw
never got messed w/ in murnf since i got it either
moradhim... i just never go there, but the trick w/ analog stick works
90% of the time qeynos dont bug me either
