Ok, I have a legit excuse....I am new to the game. But still, I feel not only very stOOpid, but also, with how much I dont have any money making skills yet, a total shame.
I was full. I had no house yet, and only had what I could carry. I had no idea where half the junk I had on me came from, so I started deleting all the foraged stuff I had on me. I still needed more room....so I deleted the cdef guns I got from thugs outside of town. I had a few more things I saw on me, and no idea what they were for. I had this blue rug adhesive....wtf is this for? I thought. I am not going to glue down any rugs. In fact, I dont even OWN a rug.....so DELETE.
A week goes by, and I see a guy in Coronet selling BLUE RUG ADHESIVE 400k.
DOH!
I really coulda used the money. As it is, I am only able to play because friends have given me money to afford doc buffs and travel.
Anyone else done something stOOpid like this? Please share, so I dont feel so alone. LOL

When I was a newbie, my first house just outside of anchorhead, Was almost full of gathered stuff. Krayt Dragon skull, palm leaves, Eyes of mesa, 2 sith holocroms, a crystal, etc. anyways i playing around with the house control box system and hit delete all items. After this i had too take a week of from SWG I was so pissed at myself and the game.
Wow.... I'm obviously doing something wrong..... It was several MONTHS before I looted my first adheasive/crystal/holocron... And you guys got this stuffin your first week or two?
You can got to mos eisly and fight the jabba scouts i the city and loot adhesive and other good stuff. This is also a good way to get a newbie on his way in exp. Everyone have a good Christmas!!!!
I deleted the wrong vendor one time... it only had about 75 swwoop,speeder deeds and close to 35 various house, harvester and guild hall deeds and 8 or 9 crystals.

Same here, I had 2 Blue Rug Adhesives in my inventory not to long after I started and thought I cant use this and deleted both of them...

I just started a Doc/Swordsman char on Bria last week, and when I figured out the macros and the ins and outs of the medic proff (master by the way), I discovered that there were peeps selling good resources on the bazaar. Not bing rich mind you, about 100k currently, I found some really good Herbivore meat (997 oq,5k worth)and bought the last one on the bazaar. So yesterday I was going through my inventory and deleting the resources that only had less than 5 units left, and dammit, I deleted the 5k one by mistake. Now I know that the meat can be found again just not at 1.2 cpu for 997 oq.

hahaha kidding... I had magically disappear on me 5 scythes... still not sure if I deleted the whole backpack or someone took it outta my house... (yes others had admin )
but fyi you know you can store 50 items in the bank too right... for any noobs reading this...
and you can use factories as storage too and they only are 1 lot each...

I did something pretty stupid in my noob days. I've just joined this guild and the guy who took me in offerd me to come se his house, so I followed him and looked around, then I see this painting and say "hey, I had one of those but since I didnt have a place to but it and I needed the space in my inventory I deleted it" and he just watches me and says "you do know that this painting is worth up to 900k do you?".... well... imagin my expresion after that... 900k, thats a fortune for a noob.

dont worry, ive been been playing for 16 months and just a few weeks ago i got my aurellian banner, i went back to Tat to put it in my house and instead of hitting #3 for drop, i hit #4 for destroy.... oops i felt like the biggest idiot even though this is the first time ive mentioned it.

I have done something even more stupid than that. I looted my husband's datapad to the forcevillage after he killed the sith and now i can't give it to him, or drop it, or even use it because i'm not force sensitive. is there anything i can do? will the sith come back?

If you're referring to the the sith that attack after the visit from the Old man or the sith camp after those guys, then yeah they come back. I had the same thing happen to me - I was grouped with a friend because i wasnt sure how many sith there would be at the camp. There were only like 4 of them but unfortunately my friend just waded in there, killed and looted the lot and then says "...errr...oops!" after he realises that he cant transfer the item. I even tried giving him admins to my house but he couldnt drop it.
Anyway, to answer your question, get your Hubby to jump on a shuttle a few times and the waypoint reactivates and the sith or sith camp should respawn almost immediately, well, it did for me.

I just sold a blue rug adhesive to a fellow guildie for 400k, but you can get much more than this as people always want these adhesives.
On the official forum there is an auction forum where you can sell it if you wish, otherwise in game go to the auction chat box and spam it.
You will DEFINITELY get at LEAST 400k and more if you wait. 400k is cheap for these.
