I'm so tired of so called RARES not being RARES as everybody can get them. "Wookie Life Day" errr weeks, what a joke. Imperials allowed at the celebration and getting gifts Bah! They tell ya what atrocious things are done to the Wookies by the Empire...then give them gifts. Our so called veteran reward the YACHT....not only takes one of our much needed lots...but everyone can get it after a small wait. I don't even plan on using mine...except for extra storage and travel. Does anyone know the meaning of the different levels of the Veteran Reward or is this another obscure mystery? Why am I complaining....since our house won't hold over 250 so called Rares/Gifts anyway???? Be glad were not getting some usless/TASTELESS Christmas/Holiday gift as it will only take up much needed room!!!!

step one....chill out man

step two what u call rares and I call rares are two different things bud. And on the vet reward...the longer u wait the better it becomes like speed wise and storage wise too. I dont use mine either, but I dont complain about them. You know u dont have to use it...u can put it back in ur inventory and u can get ur lot back. If ur complainin u need more room...go get a factory man. Just place items in it instead of wastin ur lots and money on houses. A factory might not be as neat and tidy but it gets the job done lol. Just stop complaining and enjoy the game...its what its all about..just have fun.

First of all I'm not a man....second I have factories but you can only store not display. Women like to decorate and a house that just holds 250 items just dosen't cut it. I like to role-play and SWG is so far from Star Wars (IE Wookiees giving gifts to Imps) and so bugged its hard to enjoy. I'm not the only one dissapointed....11 of my friends and family have quit. Forums are for venting in hopes some one will listen.

Based on the thread name, I would have guessed you were a male. I don't know many females that have hairy butts or if they do, talk about them.

I think rares may have been rare once apon a time but with so many uber players mowing down platoons of Imps like a bunch of dandilions, they are common place now.

I also think if verteran rewards were reserved only for people aho logged in on day one, there would be less incentive for others to join. You got your veteran reward for playing 180 days, why shouldn't others.

Not trying to flame because I understand your frustration. I have given up on rares because I think it blows that it took me 4 months of grinding and hunting to get my first rare, but anyone running mokk missions with a zillion credits can buy them at their local vendor. Rares are lame that way. Perhaps if the rares were not tradable or sellable that would be cooooool! Then the rich would have to grind them out like everyone else.

Sorry...should have said furry butt....I'm a Wookiee lol. I agree rares would be better non tradeable maybe...but when u get 2 or more of the same thing. What do we get for the 200+ reward different than the 180??? I liked it when UO gave us a list to pick from.

I have to agree with you there. I walked into an imp base the other day to get some missions, and there was a TKM in there kicking the poo out of all the officers, then waiting for them to respawn so he could do it again. I couldn't help but think "Jacka$$" but I'm a puss and wasn't uber enough to declare and kick his butt.

I wish I had been though.

If it makes you feel any better I mow down platoons of rebels like dandilions, to get rewards and faction. Gave up my house cause it was costing me too much in maintance a day (100 creds a hour, my brazillion shaved... mmm nevermind)and I can store everthing on my Yatch and decorate it. if i need to store stuff like say loot pieces, i goto someones vendor put the item in a bag(so they can't see it,what it is) and place it for sale for 999999999creds, you now have 6 plus 29 days FREE storage. If you place things in a pack you can but 50 items x20 sales comes to 1000 items stored. Have yet someone buy something from me.

Some facts about Imperials getting gifts from Wookies:

A) If you played Knights of the Old Republic you would learn that the Empire did not begin slaving the Wookies. It only allowed it continue after it came into power.

B) All the good new loot drops so that only rebs can get it. Which really blows.

C) You destroyed our Death Star so we deserve something.

D) Like it or not, you are an Imperial Citizen. The Alliance is not a government and has no land. You may not be a loyal citizen and probably a terrorist, but a citizen of the Empire all the same.

I just like to note that the life day "quest" is different from imperials to rebels. The wookiees talk to you about how the empire enslave them, and that you realy should get out of the empire while there still a chance.

Perhaps sometimes you can get further by being nice than being stubborn and ignorant. The wookies holding the ceremony are just trying to make you see the evil in the Empire, but not trying to force you into betraying it.

I for one think this was an excellent way to confront the problem of imps going to the ceremony.

I would just like to point out that Brelton is correct. It is not the Empire directly that enslaved the wookies, but human corporations. The SAME corporations that the rebellion actually supports (Incom and Koensayer have been both been proven to use Wookie slave labor). Also, just because someone is an Imperial does not necessarily mean they are a wookie slaver. I am really tired of folks who make the assumption that "Imperial" is just another word for "slaver". The people that accuse us of being bigots or stereotyping are in fact doing that themselves by making that assumption about imperials.
