to put it blankly.. Shammy pets are ****.. mage pets are better until necs get HD at 44.. and in no way would the shammy pet get better then any of the others.. all it the shammy pet is.. is cannon fodder really.. he's yer meat shield =D

I don't think it is fair to compare Shaman pet with other pets, it's like apples and oranges. Shaman pet aint suppose to be assskickerz! The pet design is more inline as added damage for shamans in groups and as meat shields when soloing. Level 49 pet is a big help for Shamans to solo abit more effective.

But to compare sha pet with nec's or Mag's is just pointless!

Ok. Heres how the whole pet thing works.

Enchanter pets own all LEVEL 1-19
(they heal and have damage taunt)

Nec pet owns LEVEL 20-23
(the pet cons 18 with a lifetap, beating the 17 conning gimpo mage water elementalkin)

Magician pets own all LEVEL 24-43
(Mage's get four CM pets at lvls 24, 29, 34, 39 which ALL CON WHITE. so the 24 pet cons 24, 39 pet cons 39, etc)
***(Please note: levels 24-43 NEC pets SUCK BALLS because level 24-43, the pets only hit twice, and ALWAYS con FIVE LEVELS LOWER than the spell. so the 29 pet cons 24, the 34 pet cons 29, and the 39 pet cons 34)***


NECRO PETS FINALLY OWN EVERYTHING FROM HERE ON.
(Ok, the 44 pet, HOWLING DEATH (aka HD) Quad Hits, Procs, Lifetaps every 20-30 seconds , Combos, Casts, Damages-over-Time. Then at 45, NECs get CM. So, our bud HD gets a SCYTHE! so thats even MORE damage! yay!)

***(Magician pets are STILL GOOD, LEVELS 44-60. They are good dont get me wrong, just NEC pets can own them because they are BETTER. but mag pets r still good)

Level 60 Nec Pet: Red Swarming Death. Our buddy gets his own profile from pure own-ing-ness-ness.
RSD:
-Quad Hits
-Lifetaps very often
-DoT's
-Casts
-HARM TOUCHES (STRONGEST NUKE IN GAME)
-Combo hits/darkstrike's
-Procs (it automatically procs, and with NEC spell it can proc an extra 800. and this buff stacks on the normal proc it gets)
