ok yall, ive been playin this joint for close to a year now... got a 55sk 35 enc and 30 nec etc.. and am completely burned out from all tha dam fools and selfish punks i see on a daily. im sure some people r honest, good players, but i dont see it anymore. i remember playin when every1 worked for they lvls and knew somethin about common courtesy, and manners. now all every1 does is shout for pl's and bytch worse then my step mom. they expect to get everything handed to them, then brag and boast about how uber and wealthy they r. to b honest.. tha **** makes me sick and logging into fp is instant disgust.

also im sick of ya cowards. i was on the nec one day at DFC and some hoe *** 60 hunter is blatently snatchin mobs from my camp that is clearly a seperate camp then from whr he was pl'in.. so i figure ahhh finally tha duel system might b used constructively for once..so i offer to duel tha fool with my mc'less 55sk and hes a 60 hunter right..for tha camp that shoulda been my grp's in tha 1st place. so tha bytch says no and kills everything and leaves corpses. yea i reported but them fools never right tha wrong anyway so im like *** it.. *** tha game.. *** those selfish people..just a waste of my life.

anyway im takin a break from this garbage for a while, maybe forever. if i should come back i hope all tha kids grow tha hell up otherwise i see myself smashin tha dam game. PEACE the *** out.

Hate to see good playaz go due to 'me first and only peeps'.

No matter how much money they have...
No matter how high levels they have..
No matter how many high levels they have...
No matter what kind of uber items they have...
They still don't have the one thing that make them uber...
...respect from real uber players!

Well here is an old post but the point is well taken. I for one still enjoy the game but do believe PL's have caused some damage.

Don't get me wrong I have had my fair share of PL's and have given my fair share as well. But leveling so fast has not really left much room for the building of friends and teamwork on leveling a toon.

They did good wiping out the really speedy PL the AOE PL but still doesnt stop the PL. Dont think anything ever will. Overall I dont think the glitches/pl's/stale quests etc. have damaged the game nearly as much as the people who play the game and have nothing better to do that train, KS, camp steal etc. and its even worse when you have several of them grouping up because they will do these things to you and then report you en masse for starting it so nothing gets done.

Groups may have been slow on the live servers while Hagley was up but it sure was a nice distraction for alot of the people who play just this way. Not going to blame hagley or anything not going to judge the people who played on it just because I chose not to but i do know that I see alot more of those kinds of poor "sportsmanship" events/attitudes with the higher populations back on live servers. Of course this is simply a matter of volume, the more people on the more asses you have as well but it was nicer with fewer of them on.

Overall effect of these people who insist on being jerks... well you see it above... good people leave because they get fed up

That, and lack of new content for levels under 50, is why I quit playing. It's a real shame the let the game get this way.

All the begging for new content though is from the people who want more to do with their 60. People dont want to play lower level toon which is why they pl them up as high and as fast as they can. I went back to my very first toon, my ranger, after Doc hit 60 and found I have forgotten most of the quests, etc. so it is still a little fun for me. I can see how once you have played and gotten 3 or 4 toons to 60 it might get old. Me, I still have the 60 epics to look forward to and grinding out cm's (though boring its a must for some abilities). Eventually there will be enough people in our guild to do these epics and a whole new layer will open up for me. For some people though they have done all the quests and completed all 18 epics (3 per 6 groups not sure if any are duplicated) and there is nothing new left for them. Those are the people who probably need to find a different game for a while because they become the biggest complainers and potential new players see that while checking out the game and probably change their mind.

this is old and people are complaining about lack of new content for under 50. Im sure there are assloads of quests you've never done and TONS of mobs you've never seen. Or how about leveling up to 60 and trying out different tags and raiding. Still alot of content to go. Sorry to post on this old thread but it just caught my eye.

Also I hate people who think dueling solves something. It doesn't just because you win a duel doesn't mean you can build a good toon for other situations and is just followed by empty threats and spam . Reminds me of why I NEVER go to freeport anymore.

I read this post and then moved on but had to come back to clear up something after I thought about it for a while. This game does get a bit boring from time to time and I take a break for a month or so and when I come back it is fun and engaging again. A couple things should be known though:

1) Powerleveling is never going to go away no matter how hard you or Sony tries. Most people have a 60 toon and just want out of the low lvls (I know the first 19 blow). There are few actual new people on here anyway.

2) New Content is coming, just not every week like these people with 5 lvls 60's want. Sorry guys not gonna happen.

3) Dueling is fun for all about 5 mins and I only use it to test abilities and builds on (especially since the betting system got pulled). No real other way to resolve stuff in game other than rolling or giving up.

4) AFKing I have no idea what the big deal is with this because you don't get that much xp and half the time end up dead. This too will most likely not go away and frankly who cares.

5) Your always gonna get trained, camp stole, yelled at, whatever. People are a$$holes by nature so get used to it. It's life and everyone hates it but not much we can do. That is up to the GM's, whatever those are (lol).

6) Boredom, it is part of EQOA. Not leaving. There is tons to do on here if you just think for tywo seconds. Farming, raiding, quests, help someone (god forbid), make a new toon, go to another server with a couple other bored people and start some toons, a whole new server full of new people, etc. If all else fails folks put EQOA away for a month or two and try something new. I tried WoW for two months and talk about a cake walk. I solo'ed to 47, did all the dungeons and battlegrounds (almost a stone Watcher), I have 4 crafts at 300 (top lvl) and multiple alts in their 20's. All in 2 months. I came back to EQ and was like "Wow! A challenge!" So no matter how bad it seems EQOA is still the best online game I have tried. Oh and people, all the about stuff is ten times worse on WoW. lol Look up the program Glider if you don't believe me. It plays for you. lol

I think this is the longest post I have ever written. Yup, I just checked all five of them. lol

I feel better now that I got that off my chest and on to the chests of my inferiors ~Mr. Burns

sorry for posting on this worn out thread and subject but i know you guys are getting bored of EQ well not so much for me with the past i can always jump from one or the other with a few other games in the mix but I have played them all and EQ is still one of the best kept MMORPGs out there although i'm just comming back to EQOA i'm still looking forward even after all the bad post about it ( which is very damaging to the new blood that can only order the game now so normally look it up first) I'm an oldy but it's going to be new to me and when i'm tired of it it will jump to another for a bit depending on who is on i'll always have a choice and as for content in game i would love it but it comes slow always have we have to face reality here this is not a top self game although it beats the **** out of FF11 in my mind still isn't SOE big money maker it came out at the wrong time with soe looking at the future and with EQ2 if that game would have been held back another 2 years or just a year i bet at least one more exspansion would have came out for this one. Still I'll play i'll be happy and i'll meet new people one last thing have you tried a differn't server Heard alot of bad things about CLW server still just hear say
