Fencer or PikemanFollow

Pike is tough but you do a ton of damage but do it slowly and your attack eat a lot of HAM.

Fencer is quick lower damage hits with less HAM cost.

You also have to consider what you are going to combine with each.

Fencer/Pistoleer both attack on the Health HAM Pool
Pikeman/Carbineer both attack on the Mind HAM Pool

Fencer/Pistoleer both have the same defensive modifier types
Pikeman/Rifleman both have the same defensive modifier types

Hmmmmm very tough question. Lets put it this way: I have a great set of composite armor. I have a ryyk blade 88-203 dmg and a 2.2 attack (im a fencer). I can take down a rougue fambaa, giant peko peko, and stay alive against a krayt dragon for 1 minute!(im not a master) i just have footwork I.


My friend is a pike man. No offense to him but he really sux ace if he dosent have a creature out. but yet again his weapon isnt that great.i can only talk for fencer.

Here is what a fencer is supposed to be: a really good PVP'er, fast attacks, low HAM cost(compared to most), and a really good dodger. With center of being i only get hit about 1/2 the time when its up. In PvP centerofbeing kix ace.

Pikeman. . . . . . the damage over time master. Honestly, you will **** everyone off in PvP. They will be like walking to a med center and start twitching lol. Its really up to you both are good but i got a feeling the are gonna revamp fencer or atleast give it a knockdown attack.

Rifles attack Mind

The ranged/melee combo's (if you're crunching)

Fencer/Pistoleer
Pikeman/Carbineer
Swordsman/Rifleman

Of these, for the moment the Fencer/Pistoleer is the strongest. Both have large dodge bonuses and at the moment these stack, I've heard that won't be the case for long.

I'd go with Pikeman/Carbineer if I was choosing now, because you'd be far less common and in Duels that could actually give you an edge as you're abilities are less commonly seen.
