Droid Questions - Losing Customization?Follow

I bought an R2 driod when I first started playing that had a weapon crafting station in it. After many months I have returned and when I call this droid I get the message "Your droid has lost some of its customization" Does anyone know what this means? With my pets I realise that there is now a trade in situation as they are much to high for me to control and I was told that there may be something similar with the droids that were made before the profession revamp (?)

This is annoying message which--currently--doesn't mean a darn thing. I can only guess that the Dev's had some plan to make droid customizations wearout over time, until they stopped working. But, for now, that never happens. So just ignore that message.

Actually this does mean something.

Your droids colour scheme can be customized by a Droid Enginneer. They can colour the frame and trim of your droid to almost whatever colour you like.

When you first "tame" your Droid it has a set customization, this fades over time. Whenever you call your droid you should get a message saying the customization has faded a little, or has completely gone. You can at any time take it to a droid engineer who can recolour it using a customization tool.

So, to clarify, the droids "customization" is not what modules it has fitted, it is just its colour scheme.

THIS IS CORRECT. MY FRIEND PLAYS ON VALCYN AND HAS AN R2 THAT CHANGES COLORS EVERY TIME HE PULLS IT OUT. ITS CAUSED BY THE CUSTOMIZATION WEARING OFF.
