You get xp when someone checks your vendor (only once per 30min per person I think). You also get xp if someone pays an access fee to enter your structure. That's why you see those 1cr access fees.

What you get exactly is 150xp/per hour, if you charge an entrance fee of your house for example 1cr for 15mins entry..... you get 50xp every time someone pays the 1cr, you then get 50xp when that same person views your vendor.

If you have more than one vendor you still only get 50xp for the viewing within the 15 minute time period.

so.... if at Merchant 4...you will have 6 vendors each pulling in 150xp per hour = 900xp per hour then it just rolls in like that.

Trust me when I say its a hell of a boring chore to level so I suggest you find another trade to level in the same time.
