Questions for RiflemenFollow

I'm a 2101 Rifleman, and I'm severely disheartened by people's reports that they're doing 2-3.5k damage with HS2 and 3. Maybe i'm doing something wrong, but I'm maxing out at about 1200 or so with a t21 (max about 360). So is there a sudden boost in damage when you get sniper, or is it just a slow process with each box adding to your damage, or am I just doing something wrong? Don't get me wrong, I like doing 1200 way more than the 60 or whatever it was we all started out at, but I don't really like having to 6- or 8-shot stormtroopers, you know? I'd really like to be able to survive without using creatures as tanks, ideally speaking, so can anyone fill me in as to what the dilly is, as they say?

Each special attack has a damage multiplier. It takes into account the damage of your weapon. A weapon that does more damage will significantly increase your damage output when multiplied by 3 or 4.
Also the damage numbers above the head does not necessarily dictate the amount of damage done to the Mob. Select on the combat chat and that will show the actual damage being done, not the numbers that appear above their head.
It is not always advisable to use the T-21, since its main attribute is the high armor piercing rating, and not the damage. A laser rifle can normally do more damage. But again this all depends on the Mob's vulnerabilities.
