Erm....this isnt like EQ you know..you can change proffesions whenever you want. the more"agile" proffesions are Pistoleer and Fencer. they have huge dodge mods, everyone can use melee weapons, but the only ones who get good with them are brawlers and their offspring. Marksman are the gun slinger types, rifelman, pistoleers and such. Read your manual bub, there is alot of good info there. I beleive there are actually ltos of newbie guides on this very sitre...you should lok around.

I think if you want to use melee weapons you need to do brawler. I like both scout and Marksman. Scout gives you the nice advantage of being able to run up hills without feeling like your stuck in a giant mud puddle and the ability to mask scent in the early trees, and Marksman gives you the ability to eventually use decent guns. You should however research what elite or hybrid profession you might want to become, because they require you either have parts of basic professions or actually master a basic profession or two. Click control s on your keyboard in game and then click all professions. Click on some and it will show you what requirements are needed.

I actually have a quick question if anyone would mind answering it extremely fast. My question is, how hard is it to gain apprentice exp? I currently want to become a Bounty Hunter, so would it be rather difficult to gain that much apprentice exp?

AP XP is something you need to just work at while you are gaining normal skills. Just keep your ear out for people who need training or group with people you know are working on the same skills your are, but may not be your lvl yet. Help them lvl quicker by being in your group and then you get to train them, works out well for you both.

One other thing I have noted, the best place to max out your AP is to take up an entertainer profession. There are always new entertainers looking to be trained and they are already in the cantina (and most likely grouped) with you, not standing out front of the starport where 50 other people are trying to train anyone they can.
