While running around I found an orb that asks you to find ward stones. Does anyone know anything about this quest? I got the quest in Gramash Ruins (c) from an orb in the tower. Any help would me appreciated

I would say don't even bother with it.
You need to find 2 stones to complete it.
One drops from a caster that spawns in one of the tents next to the tower, the other from a captain that spawns and walks a bit around the tower, I found him inside.
After you get both you talk to the orb and it will give you an item that when used it will port the people in the tower to the 2nd floor. In there you can face Radavex (47 caster). He drops a crappy robe called Radavex robe.
If you go ahead and try it, good luck!

This is also part of the Twisted tower/jaeger mansion side quest. If you get the right item from the jaeger crypt you can activate the orb. I did twice now and each time I got something different from the robe. I got bracers the first time, dont remember the stats but they were ok and the second time i got a tunic for casters that was pretty good. you get to keep the items from the jaeger quest as well.
