Vehicle repairs :: World of Warcraft

i just got a swoop bike, but its half damaged! i repaired it at one of those vehicle garages, but i wasnt able to store that vehicle. i even generated another one. is it supposed to be like this or did i get ripped out of 4k?

It sounds like a bug to me. The other night I had to repair my bike three times before it actually repaired it. Each time I generated it the damage was back on the bike....cost me some money but hey that's the way it goes sometimes.

Yes this seems to be an offshoot of the unable to store bug. I had repaired a vehicle which turned out to be an unstoreable one so had to leave it sit for the 2 minutes it takes to "pop". The new vehicle keeps the same damage recorded when the last vehicle became unstoreable... annoying as hell.

The only advice I can give about getting around it is to try and store your vehicle as soon as you get to the garage. If it doesn't store DON'T repair it. Just dismount and wait for it to go poof. Regenerate the new vehicle and repair that one.. just hope the new does actually store for you.
