Currently (even though my manual says otherwise and I think this was active in beta) you do not get XP when people use your goods. I was disappointed too.

BTW, your name is Spanish for "anuses".

Thankyou for that wonderful piece of cultural information

I have to disagree. I have seen my tailor crafting experience go up while I was working on a macro and not crafting (this was last night). Granted it was 1 or 2 experience points but it moved. I think the way usage experience works, some items grive usage experience more quickly than others. I have heard that one time usage items like grenades give it all at once, while durable items like clothing do it slowly over time. This seems to jive with my experience as I see usage experience come in slowly on my clothing (tailor) sells, but my powerups seem to pay off much more quickly as people use them up very quickly.

I haven't crafted any general item in a while, and my xp went up around 200xp in the past 2 weeks. So, I think it works but its a very small %.

ive seen my spices xp go up while i was not crafting, so im sure it works. I like to craft a bunch of cheap spices then hand them out like candy in the med center and cantina. While people have nothing better to do they can get drugged up and help me master Smuggler.

Yep, I was wrong. The XP is so small that I never even noticed it.

I read on SWGCraft.com that you get user xp up to the amount of xp you got for making the item. As an armorsmith, I'll wear a new suit in the field and get xp from taking hits. I just gave a noob a full suit of Marbari last night, and got xp from her as well, while we were hunting together.

I've also read that the user must be near you, for you to get the xp. Not sure about this, as a qualified for nov Merchant while alone and not crafting.
