Question regarding newbieFollow

Hey guys. DO I need the original EQOA to play Frontiers... Or can i play EQOA original without frontiers?? how does this work?

Ummm I dont know but frontier's is an expansion so i would think you would need EQ Adventure's to play.

You can play either. However you wont be able to go to the new expansion areas of Frontiers without this disk. But the original EQOA will work, you also wont be able to accumulate class mastery points or go past level 50. So I would suggest just starting out on Frontiers if you havent started anything at all. It has all the new graphics, cms, and expansion areas. Nice new things (some yucky ugly things like elf robes =0(..LOL ) to look at and go to. So hope this helps. Good Luck!!

No they are seperate games, Sony just let people transfer their characters over to frontiers, but because of it's format frontiers isnt a true expansion. So if you are looking to get into EQOA just buy frontiers so you get the added content.

EQOA and Frontiers are different games, but you can transfer your characters from the EQOA onto frontiers.
