That would be sooooo awesome...I like anonymous's idea of having to destroy a legendary artifact or somethin. It would be cool if they did it like LOTR with 1 elf archer (Legolas), 1 human paladin (Aragorn), 1 human wizard (Gandalf), 1 barbarian warrior (Boromir), and 4 hobbits (Frodo, Sam, Merry, and Pippin). The eqoa ppl could go around and scout and recruit people they think are best for the job. I hope they read somethin like this and do it...

I also agree this sounds pretty cool, but it is not the most practical of ideas. Could you imagine the complaints on all of the different sites and forums about how the lucky 8 people got picked. How would you propose picking 8 people from the thousands (or at very least hundreds) of people that play on each server.

Full scale raids, like when the orcs attacked FP, add a nice touch, so I think more of these would be welcome. They could even add lore and story behind the battles, to pull people further in.
