Hi all I just had a question about trade skills. The first 4(weponcrafting, armorcrafting, tailoring and jewelcrafting) are simple enough (maybe to simple) and I understand them. The ones I can find no info on are Carpentry and Alchemy. I don’t even know where to state them. So if some one could shed some light on this I would be very grateful it thanks

These are not a tradskill option for EQOA for the moment. Alchemy can only be done by and Alchemist.

You pretty much answered yourself. Only 4 skills, weapon, armor, jewlery, and tailor, and they are as simple as they seem. Alc and carpet are not an option and have not seen anything on is Sony will bring them to the game or not.

Ok thanks but why then is Carpentry and Alchemy in the book you get with the game as well as the telephone book they call a strategy guide.

I have to agree that these 2 tradeskills are a definite possibility as they are listed in Prima's strategy guide but may not be quite what everyone thinks. I would guess that Carpentry will probably involve simple things such as magical totems or other held items carved from wood or metal and Alchemy will probably involve specialty alchemy potions that are not currently used by alchemists. Most likely these will be resists and short term buffs. There may be a self sow involved, with demand being so high, but other than that they will probably make sure it is a completly seperate skill from the class of Alchemy.
