Tiger Direct did the same thing once. Had video card promos and accidentally flagged them to be available for retail sale. I assume Best Buy did the same thing here since someone posted a comment (Facebook? Twitter?) from Best Buy saying it was an accident.

Even though the graphics are kind of crap I've been a big fan of spiderweb software since I was a wee kid - I played the heck out of a shareware (lol remember that?) copy of Exile (which is what avernum is based on) when I was a teenager - one of the first games I ever played
Beat the average is under 5 bucks at the moment - but even if you just toss them a dollar you get like 8 or something games which is a wicked deal - fun open-worldish turn based rpgs with a lot of customization: https://www.humblebundle.com/weekly

Well, it's a pretty substantial change to the game from the ground up. You'll notice it pretty fast.
