Today's Steam/Bethesda deal is the Skyrim series, Legendary is $36, vanilla is $15, the two main DLC are $10 each, and Suzy Homemaker is $2.50.

When you think about it, that's a ludicrous amount of game for just $36.

Even better when it's $29 (Pro-tip: Buy it from Gamefly, use coupon code listed above).

I've been trying to keep up with Bing and farming an Amazon 5 dollar card for purchasing cheap Steam games.

Unfortunately it doesn't look like I can earn bing points for searching with a non-US IP address and I dont' care enough to try and find a proxy. I can do everything normally, but none of the searches count like they usually do. It was hard enough finding the link and setting to force Bing to stop redirecting me to it.bing.com and let me access the rewards page.

There's trying to get a good deal, and then there's just silly. Skyrim is by far worth more than they're charging for the sale price right now.

I wouldnt buy it for over 5 dollars, but that would only be for collecting purposes as I highly dislike FPS western fantasy games (Skyrim/Oblivion). Not everyone sees value in everygame. Hell I play more F2P games than games I paid for.

Yeah, but that's because you don't want the game in the first place.

Wanting it, but waiting the 1-3 years it'll take to drop to $9.99, is a little odd.

Ok, everyone stop buying any games not in a Humble Bundle.

Origin Bundle. Pay a buck or more for...
-- Dead Space
-- Burnout Paradise: Ultimate Box
-- Crysis 2: Maximum Ed.
-- Mirror's Edge
-- Dead Space 3
-- Medal of Honor

Pay over average (currently about $4.50 for...
-- Battlefield 3
-- Sims 3 + Starter Pack

Games activate on Origin (go figure) with a few that have Steam keys (don't ask me which).

Worth noting as well that EA is giving 100% of their cut to charity. So even if you have some vendetta against EA, you're not giving them your cash anyway.

I wonder. Do I get to redeem both Steam and Origin Keys? Or if I choose one will the option for the other disappear...

Time to test it out.

Edit:
Redeemed my Steam Keys, and it looks like I still have the option to get an Origin Key as well...

Edit2:
Origin's Code Redemption system is currently down. Probably swamped with Humble Bundle requests.

I'm not surprised. It's a pretty massive deal, all things considered. No reason to expect they wouldn't have volume issues.
