Hey all,

Warcraft Legends is now taking submissions for fanfiction based on world of warcraft / warcraft. We have a wide range of categories and genre's but if something isn't there that you feel should be, let us know and we'll look into it.

Hey I announced here when I was launching, and I added a note that if it was against the rules then I would be happy for the post to be removed. It wasn't and it was welcomed. All I'm doing is reaching authors of fan fiction that use the site to let them know that there is a site out there for them.

People use forums / discussion groups / e-mail groups to advertise their sites or sites that they use all the time. How else do they get going.

As I said in my previous subject (titled Fan Fiction Archive) if this is against the rules then I'm happy for my post to be removed.

But please note, I'm not spamming this forum, I'm just gently letting people know that there is a site out there dedicated solely to those players of World of Warcraft who enjoy the deeper side of it (role-playing / lore / story telling).

I'm sorry if this offended anyone, it wasn't meant to cause harm, offence, or upset.

I don't understand you people. You're doing more damage to Allakhazam by being arrogant and rude f*cks than this guy is doing by plugging his quaint little website. What will a new visitor to Alla think when he sees this topic?

I agree, I'm getting sick of all the jerks on this site. I'd like to see a post by Aegis where he doesn't tick people off.

Anyways I like this site the OP linked too, it's pretty interesting.

i have put up teasers and other materials on community forums as well, it's easy because most of the potential target audience is already easily accessible. Besides, he posted in good taste.

PS : Llengwerin if you're advertising a site, make sure you spell it correctly in ALL your posts... Most importantly in your sig ;)

I remember the OP's initial post about the site, which basically asked if anyone had any gripes about the link to the Warcraft fiction site being posted. It was an articulate and polite post, and no-one then had any objections to the link. Why be so bitter about this one? Had a bad day or something?

Honestly, the torrents of bile that seem to rain down on harmless posts in here, lately, are going to make new arrivals to the board take one look and go elsewhere. It's getting as bad as the O-Boards in some cases. Give it a rest and lighten up.
