Anyone else seeing an exceptional number of what appear to be premades? Oddly enough I'm not seeing them where it's all one guild, but instead, all one server - this a side effect of what I'm guessing to be queues bursting at the seems as people try to farm honor for new toys or just people spamming trade to get an all server team?
I don't know, but queues on Draka have been far faster (4-5 mins instead of 10-20) in groups rather than as an individual, to the point that a few times I was getting instant queues as a group of 5 queueing for randoms.
I'd say it's more a function of that rather than anything else, though the gear is probably a part of it as well.

I haven't PvP'd since 4.0.1, that being said I have made a greater effort to get people from the realm to join five mans since that patch. I'm guessing it is similar drive.
Rated BGs and dungeons requiring a modicum of skill in Cata will cause people to try and recruit from their server to reestablish ties and get an idea of who is capable of what. Plus people will try and grab folks from friend lists in times of change as the random moron factor is reduced and the vent/skill factor is increased.
