Here it is.

I think that's a great idea to implement the Emerald Drake (former reward for 250 mounts).

I have all mounts currently required, too.

Edit: Just read through the replies to this tweet and apparently it will be a regular achievement on live.

Makes people want to get them mounts. I think I have a few on that list.

I don't think it's a Feat of Strength - he says something further down the thread about a typo and it being a regular achievement.

Regardless, I hate achievements that are RNG based. Give people an achievement for getting a bazillion badges, sure, but one for being lucky? Come on now, being lucky is not an achievement. And if it is, then there should be an achievement for being the most unlucky son of a ***** in history.

Can't argue with this. My first reaction after reading about it was checking my Armory and since I have all of them I didn't check how many were rare drops. Maybe they should really make it an FoS since those are luckbased often enough (Love Rocket, Attumen mount, several legendaries, etc) and that way it won't sit there in your achievement window, mocking you.

Or they should only include drakes that don't fall into the 1% drop category.

I think the only four drakes on the whole list that are rare drops are the Blue, Azure, Onyxian, and Blazing Drakes...

Blue/Azure: Eye of Eternity
Blazing: Dragon Soul (Madness)
Red Drake: Wyrmrest Accord Exalted
Bronze Drake: Culling of Strat (100% drop)
Sandstone Drake: Crafted
Black Drake: Sartharion
Twilight Drake: Sartharion 25M 3D
Onyxian Drake: Rare drop

Onyxia is super-easy to do once per week on all of your characters..... EoE might be a touch harder (not sure how well the vehicles scale up these days?), and not sure how hard Madness is at Lv100.

Malygos is very easy (10man) when you know what to do and your gear is not total crap. Both of his mounts can drop in 10man or am I mistaken?

They stated somewhere how they want Deathwing to be soloable with WoD. (Don't know about Spine though.)

So yeah, you should be able to farm all 4 mounts without too much effort. Doesn't help you when the mounts won't drop. I have so many attempts on the four worldboss mounts and on Attumen, statistically I should have had at least some of them for some time now. RNG can be a real *****.

Oh trust me, some 500 runs and no Baron Horse. I know about RNG, as does everybody. I did manage to get Onyxia's, and Attumen's mounts though.

I have the white chicken, but no Raven (after MANY tries).

So.... yeah. Never tried EoE tho. Might do that in WoD tho. I'm sure with their focus to allow you to do older raids easier, it'll go more smoothly.

I actually got both the Raven and the white chicken from the loot bags for healing LFR/Random dungeons. So those are usually worth doing.

Took me 3 weeks, on 3 90s to get the Raven mount. Was so pretty happy that day.
I dig the new WoD version, and it will probably be my new all around mount on my DK.

Damn clamstackers. Back in my day, we had to be Druids to get the mount (assuming we're talking about the Raven Lord).

Probably the only time in the game I got lucky. Got the Raven Lord on my third try, and then Lady Luck was like ********** you, I'm out!"

And it was such a joy when they changed the "need to be Druid or have one with you" to kill the boss. Smiley: tongue

Me, circa like 5+ years ago, hates you Smiley: lol

I think I had about 90 runs on the Raven Lord and never got it. I did manage to get Rivendare's Mount back when the drop rare was extremely small after around 100 runs though, so I think I used up all my luck there!

In other news, darn it, I'm getting tempted to come back... my best friend just re-upped last month and won't stop badgering me about it. Smiley: glare

I too have been tempted to return lately, although I'm considering completely starting over. So be on the lookout for me possibly asking for a refer-a-friend (US servers only, though Smiley: frown).

Because I never get tired of mentioning that. I mean, I didn't actually get the mount until after they changed it(thank god that didn't take nearly as long as Rivendare's mount) and I was higher level and able to solo it, but the summoning thing was cool.

I'm still not sure you've ever told us how you got that stone in the first place...

Until you do, I'll imagine you shanked some Boomkin in Zangarmarsh for it.

I'm still not sure how exactly I ended up with one, either. I had a friend complete the quest. We went with her to do the turn in so we could cheer her on. After she turned in the quest, I had the stone as well.

I like to think that I might be the only non-druid on any server who had it.
