The worst part of a good weekend is that it ends with a Monday. How'd you guys do?

WOW: I got some progress on Engineering, but stalled out as I always do on the late Vanilla grind. I suspect that there is a recipe out there somewhere that will demand that I chop down a tree with a herring. Fueled by that annoyance, I threw Sunday into leveling my old Human Mage. LFD cooperated, queue times were less than five minutes and people were generally efficient. The best part was that I got in with a competent group at 58, and we shredded stuff until I was 62. I never killed a single pig, I skipped right over HFP to Terrokar. Hand me those knives, I'm ready to dance the Mamushka! [Remember, we got extra servings of TBC and I hate that stretch of the grind.]

RL: The pizza adventure Friday evening went well. The pizza was good and the owner kept bringing me glasses of white beer. Saturday, BunBun was on good behavior and it was fun to raid the market with someone training to be a five star cook. As a bonus, I got to stock up on odd necessities -- instant coffee (still a bit hard to get the real stuff here) and instant mashed potatoes (harder to find than coffee). The poor Tyger is still suffering from the coal smoke, but we had a pleasant time and the good mood carried me through the remainder of the weekend.

Smiley: lol It was one of those rare weekends when things went well. Here's hoping that you all can say the same.

Somehow I didn't see the weekend goals thread this week. I got my priest up to level 87, and ran a couple dungeons. Got kicked from the third one because nobody explained the last boss in Monastery to me even after I said I'd never been in there before. I read the dungeon journal entry on it, so now I have a good idea of what to expect, but if someone could tell me how you "meditate" to get rid of your hate stacks, that'd be most helpful. Seems odd to me to make a normal dungeon that complicated, especially when it's not a level cap normal, but oh well.

Also completely procrastinated a paper that is due tomorrow at 1pm. So now I have to whip it out as fast as possible. Haven't even started it yet, let alone thought up a thesis or anything. WoW is partly to blame, but so is True Blood.

Went to the gym on Saturday and had a fun evening out with friends. Other than that my RL was very quiet this weekend.

In WoW I got real lucky and had this drop in ZG. My guilds raid on Sunday was cancelled due to too many missing people. I went with another group and snatched the t16 head token from Thok. Also had some solid tries on Garrosh with them. Those gave me some ideas to improving my guilds tactics on this boss. Hopefully it will help us.

Real Life: Completed my Database Design project, finished my IT in business quiz. Went with SO to see Fiddler on the Roof. Had lunch with some friends.

WoW: Re-installed game, got MoP, Created Panda Monk and reached level 19, started up with Pet Battles.

EQ2: Also Re-Installed, since I can play with a silver membership, started to visit some of the old zones (it's been even longer playing EQ2 than WoW, so took longer to get situated).

RL: Probably moar gaming as usual.

WoW: I find that these days, my gaming routine revolves around Daily Cooldowns because there's so damn many of them in WoW these days. I want armor, but I can only work on it one piece of cloth/leather or metal ingot per day and it takes 30 days. Oh, and doing 1 Timeless Isle daily quest per day because they couldn't be bothered to at least give us 2-3. Yeah a whole isle of dailies would have been bad, but come on? *one* daily? Maybe if I'm extremely lucky I can actually find something else to do (since LFR queues absolutely stink past Thursday) in-game. If not (which is most likely scenario) then.....

Warframe: Been getting kinda bored with this too, though DE is thankfully going to release a major update soon. In the meantime, if I can find a minute online without a certain somebody constantly asking me to do stuff with them I might get around to leveling some of my equipment up.

Otherwise, probably playing PS1 games on my emulator, or hanging out in a MU* that I frequent. Or something. Maybe even watching a movie.

Been pondering FFXIV, but the problem with that is I'm not sure I want to stick another $15/mo on my bank account for something I'm not even sure how often I'd be able to play it...

EDIT: Derpa Derpa I posted in the Summary instead of the Goals thread.

Oh well, same difference I guess, lol. Since what I posted here pretty much covers what I've been doing Fri-Sat around my Work Schedule with a dash of single-player games like Skyrim thrown in when truly bored.

RL:

I will be dragging a friend to see Thor. If I need to provide the ticket and booze, so be it. I think it might not take that much, though. She finds Chris Hemsworth very appealing. Smiley: grin

Otherwise, I'm determined to get some cleaning done. Because it has gotten out of hand. Need to go grocery shopping and do laundry. Also determined to start my xmas shopping, now that more of the Black Friday deals are out, and I know what to expect.

Other than that, I desperately need winter clothing. It's been below freezing all week, and my only coat is way too big for me (XL, I'm a M now).

Gaming:

I want to get at least another 2 badges in XY. I also intend to see if I can get into Skyward Sword, because it's bugging me that I haven't finished it. I'm determined to log into TOR, too.

RL: LOL

I didn't see Thor.

I did very little cleaning, and no laundry. I purchased no winter clothing... but I did buy socks and a belt.

Gaming:

I played some XY... but not much. I DID play some Skyward Sword (cleared the first temple), but I'm really hating the motion controls. There's a very good chance I'll abandon it again. Didn't log into TOR...

Overall... like 5% success on my goals, lol.

RL - Saturday was mostly a bust. I had a late hockey game Friday, and it pretty much kicked my butt all day. It did allow me some game time, though :-) Sunday was mostly a mundane take care of business day, since I'm out of own this week.

WoW - worked in more time than I thought I'd be able to...leveled 56 pally and 57 Druid to 60. I find I'm really enjoying pally tanking. I'm at a stage where it's quite powerful. Pulling big groups is no problem. And fun. Resto Druid a little tougher to level, but fun in dungeons.

I also hit the low lowboys, moving 12 hunter and 13 lock up to 15. Now, I really need to figure out lock dps. I ran deadmines and stunk. Seems like spells (I'm trying Demonology) are too slow and I don't get many shots off before mob is dead. I need to work on it, or try another spec.

No more playing until next weekend, so I should be rested and ready to go!

Hope everyone had a great weekend.

Pigtails: the button you need to hit should be right above your hot bars thats all you have to press. The game puts that button there, just make sure that when you do it that you arent meditating in his large aoe shadowbolt swirly thing :)

I use a UI addon, so I'm not entirely sure where the button is. I'll keep a look out though, thanks.
