The almost Heirlooms of MoPFollow

Usually, when I have a few minutes free at work, I spend them reading things online. Sometimes, I get stuck with an awkward block of time and I indulge in a bit of Skyrim. One thing that I enjoy is that one sometimes finds a tumble of stones or the remains of a shack, and sometimes there will be loot -- a few gold, a book. It usually isn't game changing, but it is a nice reward for exploring.

The Lost and Found accomplishment for MoP gives something of the same feeling for me. Sometimes one just finds interesting vendor trash, but sometimes there is BoA loot that can provide a mild, but handy, boost for alts. I hadn't paid much attention to it before I got the Bloodsoaked Chitin Fragment on my druid.

Since my Troll Warrior is on a completely different account from most of my 90s, I've been finding the iL450 gear handy. Sure, it will get replaced quickly enough, but it is BoA and can be used at level 86 (lower iLevel stuff can be used at 85). Not a bad deal. Some of the models aren't bad either; I'm rather fond of the Swarming Cleaver of Ka'roz.

Was I just stumbling around in my now usual Pink induced fog, or is this kind of a nice feature that has been overlooked in the iLevel race?

That damn cleaver makes a Lv85 Arms Warrior simply ridiculous.

I had an Orc with full 384 Crafted (with a couple of them being 415 Crafted Blues, the "High Quality" ones), that Swarming Cleaver and went into Jade Temple LFD....

I was #1 on the DPS, and I was like 3x the DPS of the #2 guy. We were killing crap ridiculously fast, and my DPS was simply out of this world, because they were going "wtf warrior?" and such.

I was probably doing 50k DPS at 85... and most of the rest of the group was doing like 15k.

It was... hilarious.

Easily. You and a Healer could probably duo Jade Temple lol or dang near it.

I'd be interested in hearing how that goes. I woulda rather done that with a protadin, but prot warriors are cool too.

This thread brings back memories of when I leveled my Monk through Cataclysm levels. I put a pair of MoP Shoulders, and two MoP Axes on my Monk, and hit up LFD and got BRC. My DPS was so high that trash was dying in less than 8 seconds (more like 3-4 depending on how many crits came out of lolcranekick) and the other two DPS could hardly even get a hit in (which made them do far worse DPS than they should have been), and bosses were taking about 15 seconds or so to kill. At first they were going "omg the damage is ridiculous...." and then it was "oh wait the monk has MoP stuff, that's why" lol.
