Things may be a bit hectic this weekend. It's almost lunch time on a Friday here, so I'm going to get the goals thread started before I get sidetracked.

But first, a question:Things on the main page have been a bit slow and there has been a suggestion that perhaps we should ask the mods to lock old goal and summary thread so that they don't get bumped by accident or by spammers. I don't know if that happens often enough to make extra work for the mods, but it seems like a reasonable idea. What do you folks think? Mods, is it practical or does that just add work for you guys?

WOW: It looks like I may be short on play time this weekend, so I'm going to just keep pushing the rep and currency grinds. If I get the chance, I'd like to work on my Druid a bit so that I can finish leveling Skinning and Leatherworking for her.

RL: Pink is making time for us this weekend. She has been working hard to get her newer shop ready for spring and wants to celebrate a bit. She wants to indulge her craving for crabs and jumbo shrimp. How can I argue with that?

Weekday musings: OK, I don't really mind dailies, but there are a couple that annoy the bejabbers out of me. High on the list would be almost any of the Operation: Shieldwall dailies in the mine. The four big mantis mobs for Shado-pan are right up there too.

Smiley: laugh Seems I wasn't fast enough and last week's got bumped. Scroll on down to add your latest ambitions.

Maybe just add the weekend date to the thread title so there's no confusion (theoretically):

Weekend Goals (3/8 to 3/10), Weekend Summary (3/8-3/10) <-- Something easy like one of those examples.

Goals:
WoW - Haven't played since 5.2 hit. So, I guess I'll fire it up and dabble a little and see what grabs me. I have some pet stuff to do, but I'm not terribly gung-ho to pursue those at the moment. Level the DK up to 75 so I can open the next level of professions. Um, yeah...guess that's about it.

Other - Figure out a decent chicken farm setup for Minecraft. One part to farm eggs, the other part to harvest chickens. Make it compact and as automated as possible.

RL - Not much planned this weekend. Still house hunting, but the housing market sucks right now. Sellers market. Stuff is selling almost as fast as it's listed. Prices are going up, too. Ugh. So, just trying to be patient and get in where we want to get in at a price that's reasonale. Hockey on Sunday evening.

Hope everyone has a nice weekend.

RL:
Do some clothes shopping, start The Two Towers and/or A Wise Man's Fear, see friends, work on a work report.

Gaming:
Dunno. Might play some TOR or LotRO. Might play something else. Might play nothing.

RL: Church on Sunday, A Very Potter Musical tonight. Saturday is likely gaming. Busch Gardens trip may or may not happen at some point.

Gaming: ME3, w00t!

As for stickying the thread, I can't do that but some of the other admins can. I just give spammers the ban hammer.

RL: Work tomorrow morning, otherwise nothing. I fully plan to spend the whole weekend reading.

Gaming: Beyond a little bit of DOTA2, nothing is really planned. I'll just play whatever I fancy playing, if I feel like gaming at all.

WoW - don't have a clue, not motivated to play much lately so kind of depends on how much my wife wants to play. Have been working on my death knight, hit 63 earlier so will try to hit 70'ish

RL - go shoot my rifle at my in-laws (need some ballistic therapy), clean house and laundry, good eats.

Um... well, since it was a mod who seems to have accidently bumped this one...maybe we should just start putting dates on them? Smiley: laugh

Last week I posted early, but real life waited until this week to ambush me. Pink surprised me with a dinner invitation and I got back late. Since this one is already rolling, let's just see how it goes.

WOW: I'm not sure how much I'll get to play, so I'll stick to trying to advance reputations on my Shadow Priest. We just got 5.2 last Tuesday and she needs to get her gear caught up.

RL: Pink seems to be extra cheerful this weekend. Spring is just around the corner here. Pretty girls in real life are unfair competition for bouncing Nelfs and Pandaren cooking.

WoW - level the DK (now 77.2) to 80. Might be a little ambitious since I may have restricted play time and I'm nearly out of rested XP. Other than that...level cooking a bit. Pretty crazy, huh?

RL - Pay attention to the dog. He's been a bit shorted this week, because I've been working long days. Saturday night, dinner party with friends. Should be a good, mellow time. Sunday night Hockey...not sure I'm going to play since it's a late game and I have to be up early for work on Monday.

Hope everyone has a great weekend.

Probably won't get any decent WoW time in until Sunday evening, so probably just more old raid/instance mount hunting.

R/L, be staying over at a friends place for the big UFC fight. Gogo GsP!

RL this weekend, aside from coughing, using up every box of kleenex we owned and feeling like crap, I'm doing nothing.
Game, the doing nothing may extend to that also. If I do go on, it'll be between naps and doses of this awesome chicken noodle soup my girl made.
