That's why a lot of us play video games -- we can do all the things we can't do IRL without consequence. You can't take a rocket launcher and blow a jeep full of people up or some-crap IRL, can you? No, you can't. But you CAN in a game and you can point and laugh at the fiery wreckage and you can have fun doing it.
You can grab a machinegun and mow down people in-game; they're just pixels.
I imagine a politician's job is probably stressful (especially with the kind of Republican bullsh*t she has to put up with, as evidenced by this website attack against her); stress relief is probably a necessary part of her life, otherwise most humans would go insane.
There's nothing wrong with her statements; she's saying/doing the same thing that a major portion of the American population is saying/doing.
EDIT: I am in no way, shape, form or manner saying I support the Republicans or the Democrats; I'm completely neutral in that regard, before someone gets the bright idea that this is an anti-republican (or pro-democrat) post.

Of course I play WoW for stress relief. But I don't do it because I can kill people without going to jail. I don't consider real world consequences when playing WoW (other than things I might miss out on because I am playing) and I certainly don't think of WoW consequences while doing things in the real world. I thought her explanation of "doing it because she can kill people without going to jail" was a damn dumb thing to say. That's all.
