It's Friday. I'm not so happy about it because tomorrow my my Saturday on the rotation, which only leave 1 day for WoW. That means I'm probably not going to get my DK to 90 by the end of the weekend, but I'm going to try like hell to.

What do you guys hope to accomplish this weekend?

I'd love to get a few levels on my still 85 hunter but we'll see how much time I have to play this weekend with RL rearing it's head.

WoW - Outside the massive amount of dailies that a person can do daily, I am going to work on getting my Red Flying Disk of Awesome. Probably gun for the "All scenario's on a Saturday achievement. I also would like to step into a heroic or two but I am uncertain if I will or not. Oh and obviously farm Coren Direbrew for mounts and the trinket. I do need to hop on my enchanter and melt gear, also hop on my jewelcrafter and melt that metric ton of Ghost Ore I sent her.

RL - Wait... the rest of the world exists outside my window?!?

WoW: I'm really enjoying the quest lines in Jade Forest...on my 86 lock. I sort of abandoned the warlock business after Cata, and concentrated on my mage and s'priest, but back to lock now maybe. Smiley: nod
Pet battles... what can I say, need more blues. I have 9 teams set up already lol.
RL: Yard work, as usual, attacking shrubberies again. That room I repainted is pretty much done...my gf brought home different colored paint samples the other day...not going to ask...really don't want to know yet.

Probably will not be able to play much... but my wife has a 78 pally so will clear dungeons for her (with 85 hunter) until she hits 80 and then we will start doing 80 heroics and then some of the lower cata instances if we can.

Will probably get around to buying MoP so that I can level up some and do the CATA instances easier and see how many I can solo.

This is probably more like a 2 week plan versus a weekend but its all planned at least.

I'm going to try and find myself a guild. My old server got really quiet since I left so I might scout around and see if any servers could be a new home for me. Not really got back into the rhythm of things, but I plan to this weekend. Hopefully I'll have a realm chosen tonight.

Regretting agreeing to work overtime tomorrow though...

I've got Saturday and Sunday off and I think I'll figure out whether I'm going to main my rogue or my hunter.

The absolutely weird thing is that even though my hunter has ****** gear (like, level 85 Cata greens and a few blue PvP pieces) I've felt like I've had an easier time playing him through the ~10 or so quests I've done compared to my rogue who had PvP epics from the last season of Cata PvP.

We'll have to see which I find more enjoyable.

Keep grinding HCs until I am at or close to BiS in tanking gear and a good Holy set to go with it. I probably AM going back to raiding, and my guild is pushing hard for 1sts. I am not getting into that, but some raiding on a 2nd team would be nice. Perhaps. Also, dailies!

Dammit, I'm back too. And totally hooked on pet battles.

So, more of that.

WoW:
- Get my Priest to 85. He's 84 now with only 1,5 mio into the next level so there are still some quests that need to be done.
- Since I just maxed Enchanting I'd like to have Tailoring at 600 too.
- Do everything Brewfest-related. Need as many tokens as possible. I was slacking last year and not buying anything so I need really really many if I want to do all missing achievements AND get both pets. Hopefully a mount will drop from Direbrew.
- Start with Cooking and Archaeology. First Aid and Fishing I did a little bit already but they are not high on my priority list.
- Catch some new pets! Still a long way to 250 pets but some day...
- Grind the Tol Barad Dailies. I almost have the 200 tokens for the fox and the zone should be pretty empty by now.

RL:
- Finish up some pieces for the synopsis of my diploma thesis I was working on this week. This one is pretty much on top of everything (even the WoW stuff Smiley: lol).
- Help yet another friend move.
- Finish up Curb Your Enthusiasm with my roommate. Need room for some new shows.

Working weekend, blaaah.

I'll try and log on in the morning and get what I can done, but most likely it isn't going to be much. Hopefully tomorrow (Sat) morning I'll get on long enough to get some ore farmed up, probably do Alliance (Moon Guard) in the morning, and maybe when I get home Sun. Evening I might try to finish plate armor on the Horde (The Scryers).

I'd be really really nice if I had most of all of the Lv85 plate armor done so I can start using ore for Jewelcrafting instead of Blacksmithing.

UPDATE:

Got bored and logged onto my horde DK (Miner/Blacksmith) and decided to "just kill crap" for cloth (I fell just short in outfitting my mage with a full set of windwool gear). While I stood in Honeydew Village, looking at the flight path map trying to pick a spot, I suddenly remembered that cave near the BMAH and I was like "Heeey, nice Ghost Iron Spawns AND mobs that drop Cloth AND they're 87, better chance than anything in Jade Forest for dropping motes, too!"

45min later, I had gotten...

~200 Ghost Iron Ore
~95 Windwool Cloth
3 Motes of Harmony

Not bad for 45min!

Now all of our Horde characters are done with full sets of Lv85 Ghost Iron Plate Armor; I got tomorrow and Sunday mornings to try and do the same for the Alliance. Now that I know exactly where to farm it, its just a matter of finishing Jade Forest (~2-3 hours) and questing my way up to that cave (or I could just skip the quests...) and I'd be done fairly quickly.

WOW: At least we are supposed to be getting MoP soon. What with one thing and another, I haven't really been able to get much play in during the week. I'm going to just putter about in my free time.

RL: It is going to be a long weekend, about nine days worth. This is the start of a long holiday that spans Mid Autumn Festival and the PRC's National Day.

Have fun with the new expansion! May the RNG smile on you all and give you material for bragging in the Monday summary!
