Ye gods, man! Go have a six pack or two to get your alcohol blood content back to a reasonable level!

I read the article that was linked explaining JP's and VP's but I'm still a little confused ...

Pre-patch I was soloing Level 80 Heroics and earning about 25-40 JP's per run from what I remember, now I am earning Honor Points after the patch ...

Can you only earn JP's from CATA/MOP dungeons and Heroics?

I need to do some dailies to see what CATA dailies are rewarding ...

(Forgot to mention that I returned to game Sunday of this week after a year off, so I'm a lot rusty on all of this.)

You can earn JPs queuing up for instances in LFM as you level. In fact I am GUTTED that they didn't go and do the planned conversion from JPs to gold as I didn't max out my main to 4.000 JPs pre-MoP and now I'm a wee behind the curve in terms of JPs as I approach level 90 (just 10 mill EXP shy of 90 now).

They did do the JP to gold conversion a few weeks ago. You only got gold for any JPs over 4000 that you had. My younger sister still hasn't grasped the concept of actually using JP/VP to buy gear, so she got 1200g in the mail.

As for the level 80 heroics, the honor points are because of the Essence of Wintergrasp buff that used to award some kind of currency when your faction controlled WG. I'm not sure about the JP side of things, because the only lvl 80 heroic I'd been running recently was Utgarde Pinnacle, but I only kill one boss (Skadi) and I've been JP capped since 5.0.4 and can't remember if he gave JP before that. So, in short, I'm not much help!
