After resubscribing (technically I used a game time card), I've had some issue with the game randomly minimizing and maximizing itself and then moments later locking up my entire system, forcing me to reboot the thing the hard way.

Countless updates, virus scans, hours spent fiddling with background applications and graphics settings later, I noticed that, for some reason, the game had enabled DX11 again, which I've had disabled since ever due to instability issues. I switched it back to DX9 (what happened to DX10?) and haven't had any issues since.

You'd think my card would support DX11 (GeForce GTX 580), but it most definitely did not want.

Anyone experienced similar things with DX11? Anyone who can think of a solution? Heard that updating the firmware (didn't know graphics cards had firmware) might help, but other than that, Blizzard seems to be taking the "DX11 don't work? Disable it for now" stance, which was also the reply I got a year ago when I first started having issues with it.

I find that the game runs great... untill I turn on my installed addons. I dont run many so I'm going to try turning them on one at a time till something breaks. I think I'm only running the following: HealBot, Flotem bars, DBM, Recount, Omen. Anyone else having an issue whith any of these?

Checking the Internet, it looks like a similar problem with the 509 was a frame rate problem. The default settings for frame rate seem to cause problems, I had a nasty overheating incident and I don't overclock.

The new patch added some fancy little toys (that I can barely notice while playing).

You might want to click the "system" button before logging into the game, and make sure those are turned off (I forget what they're called).

You could also reset everything to defaults, or manually slide the graphics quality slider all the way to the left and then log in and see if it does it again.

Or you could try turning it down to DX10, a setting that's also found in the System button on the login screen.
