It's Friday. It doesn't feel like a Friday, though, probably because I was home the last 2 days with a sick 3 yr old and tomorrow is my Saturday on the work rotation. I should get some decent time in for gaming on Sunday, when I'm not cleaning up the mess said 3 yr old made the last 2 days.

What do you guys have planned for this weekend?

WOW: Lag has been too much to allow me to plan anything for my regular toons. I'll probably keep trying to sort out the old toons that I mothballed after my daughter got too busy to play.

RL: Sigh. The Bunny is ill and has managed to have her first kitchen oops at school, not a particularly bad slice as those things go (no stitches) but enough to remind me of my worries about giving someone with ADD a knife and pushing them too cut fast. I asked her to rest and get well, but she insists on coming by Sunday. In other news, it says something about the Mongolian approach to booze that I just paid 10 RMB for a half liter bottle of 60% booze (120 proof) and it has a crown top. That's right, a pop off top like a beer bottle,

Gan bei! And may the RNG smile on all of you! Smiley: smile

-Work on finishing Kalimdor loremaster. About half way done so I probably will finish this.

RL
-Not much going on this weekend, yet again. Roommate is going to be super busy with work though so I get the house to myself for the majority of the weekend. Time to break out some booze and ... play wow. Smiley: frown

We worked on H Morchok on Tuesday without downing it though it was obvious that some of us were getting a good handle on it. Since we didn't actually get saved, the guild leader and the Friday group raid leader decided that we'd run Friday as a 25 man group so we could get more people in there and hopefully, with the help of most of the people in the experienced Tuesday group, get all the way to the end which is something the Friday group hadn't quite worked up to yet. So, we'll see how it goes. I have no idea if they'll ask me to go heals or not (since I'm one of the highest dps in the guild) but I figure it can't be much harder than healing on LFR plus I have also been acting as 3rd healer on Spine and Madness in our main group.

I am still working on the Ravenholdt rep. While I haven't been able to farm up my 80 boxes a day every day since I had to go back to work, I am still keeping it relatively high in priority. It doesn't help when I get involved with guild stuff that uses up almost my entire evening (stuff that shouldn't use up more than an hour or two tops). I'm also still farming gear though a lot of what I am trying to farm is stupid level 50-60 classic boe greens. There just aren't enough places to farm that stuff anymore. AQ20 and MC drop the right level of stuff but the drop rate is abysmal. BWL and AQ40 are harder to farm because it's really hard to get past the first bosses as a solo player. High level elites are very scarce out in the open world with the changes made by Cataclysm.

I'm planning on going out to visit family on Sunday. I'm still in the process of healing from the surgery and wearing regular clothes is very uncomfortable, but I do miss seeing my family and I think I can handle the 4-5 hours required. I've managed to get through 2 full days of work this week (and am currently on my 3rd) without incident.

WoW. Resubed today. So I'm just going to install the game and see where I left all my toons. I want to find me a decent social guild with a raiding team in case I get back in that. Will try to pay a visit to the Raven Lord see if he's forgotten me and has decided to drop the mount too.

RL: I don't know. I heard the word 'paint' and everything else went blank.

WoW: I keep hearing the echoes of 'paint'

RL = Vacation just ended last week, and I don't think anyone's in the mood to do much this weekend. There's a lot of little things around the house that need to be taken care of anyway, so it'll work out well.

WoW = There's a transmog set I've been eying I think I'll start trying to collect. I've got the quests I need to do mapped out and all, it's just a matter of getting to all the zones I want and doing the right quests. I may also hit D3 a bit. I swore to myself I'd finish things up with my Witch Doctor, but she's like 57 and finding time to set aside when I can actually focus on the game and be uninterrupted for those 4-5 min kiting sessions is getting hard. I love the challenging solo play in D3, but one thing I did miss about WoW is the ability to log on for 15 min and actually accomplish something.

Finally, 2 days off in a row. Let's hope the "sleepyhead" girl at work doesn't sleep in (again!). She came in 2 hours late yesterday because she slept in (because she stays up to 6am talking to her BF on the phone, then sleeps in past her scheduled 8am shift). Boss told her if she does it again she's fired. Of course if she gets fired then we're all pulling double shifts. Meeeh.

I think it'd be a good time to turn my phone off lol.

Anyways.

Assuming I actually GET the 2 days off in a row, I'll try and do more "finish up" work:

On the Alliance side, I need to make some 377 capes and that's it. Once I get those done, I'm going to sell pretty much everything in my guild bank, 'cept mats to make bags (some characters are still using 20-slotters, I wanna get at least 22-slotters on them). I've got a LOT of volatiles and other junk that I'm gonna sell off.

On the Horde side, somehow I missed the fact that one of our paladins still needs a suit of 377 armor. I'll likely get the mats for that, make em... one character needs a pair of plate boots, might either do the first day of molten front dailies for those boots, or make the 377 ones, depending on how many Hyjal quests that character has done. We've got 3 characters who are using blue quested weapons, I'm going to give them 377 rings and amulets; I don't feel like trying to transmute ~30 truegold, I'd rather just tough it out in Jade Forest or somecrap until a weapon is awarded. Once I get this stuff done (oh and need more capes too on this side as well), I'll do the same, sell everything off except for what I need to make bags.

I'll have to go through each character one by one and empty their inventories and banks to get rid of everything, I'll do huge undercuts if I have to, I just want to get rid of everything I don't need that way when Mists goes Live, we can dive right in and not have to worry about junk.

I bow in awe of your organizational skills. Every time I log on, with a specific goal in mind, my short-term memory problem kicks in and I get 5 other things done. Going to get a tablet & start making lists tomorrow if I'm not painting something. New paint chips appeared, and there seems to be a problem which must be discussed with the female persons whose opinions count more than mine. (I just said go with brown and nearly got decapitated with the eyeball of death stare) I think I may just get to play tomorrow. :)
