It's that day again!!! My weekend has started early as I am going to spend the whole day with my son (and bring him for his 3 year check-up this afternoon). I can't decide what we're going to do, but I think he might like bowling so we'll see about that. I probably won't get much gaming time in this weekend.

How about you guys?

WOW: Latency has been horrible. I'm going to give Leatrix Latency Fix a try and hope for the best. If I can get latency down below 1200 (and often several times that), I'll try to work on the regular stable of toons. If I can't ... sigh... looks like a vacation on a different server.

RL: Bun-Bun is swamped, so I'm on my own for the weekend. The "Three Illegals" campaign and related policy changes continue to be a headache; I think I'll stay home, turn the a/c down, and indulge in a better grade of beer. OK, Kaiserdom isn't craft beer, but it beats the lower tiers of local beer by a long shot.

May the RNG smile on you!

WoW
-Did all my old raids earlier this week so I don't have to worry about them. Doing LFR is still a quick means to get a headache. Between people wiping on fights like Morchok and hunters in reg DS gear needing on LFR loot it makes me very upset. It's my loot damnit stop rolling on it! Smiley: mad
-Rant aside I am probably going to get my Outland loremaster done. Anything else is icing on the cake.

RL
-I did quite a bit of house work this week so the only thing on my plate is to do a bit of yard work. Suppose to be around 90 this weekend so it isn't going to be the scorcher that it was last weekend (or was it the weekend before last, I can't remember...).

Well, one thing that I'm not doing is farming for the Arcanite Reaper plans because I got them last weekend - and I'm still excitedly happy over that.

I'm slowly farming Ravenholdt rep on my main. I got him up to almost revered with kills and now I'm just farming and turning in junkboxes at a rate of about 40 a day. That is two farming runs of LBRS on my Rogue and is about the most I can stand without falling asleep at the computer (or at least my hands not falling asleep). I have also be starting to work on leveling alts a bit again though I still try to spend some time farming for some gear here and there too. I was excited to get a particular green quality boe drop last night for a 'set' I'm trying to put together for my female Shaman. Of course most of the pieces are all high 50s classic drops so they can only be found in a few select places anymore. I guess I should try to go dual box an MC or AQ20 clear soon.

I'm still recovering from that surgery a couple of weeks ago but I am going to have to start getting ready to go back to work on Wed of next week. Bleh I still have a drain tube in that should be coming out on Monday. I really hate that thing. I probably won't do the family visit because of it and how it makes it hard to dress normal and because of the soreness. It's not that I can't deal with family but more that I can't deal with the hour+ drive out there and then another hour+ to get back home.

WoW: All of mom's characters are finally 85 (did half of her priest's last level this morning and then we both went to Twilight Highlands to finish off the other half when I got home from work). Yay!I still have my Orc who's sitting at Lv84, 40% of the way towards 85. I hope to finish him off tomorrow, then all of our characters are leveled up, no more leveling until MoP goes live. yaaay.

Once I get that done, I'll probably want to get our two guilds caught up to each other, Horde guild is probably going to be ~5-6% ahead of the Alliance one, probably do some Molten Front dailies on a character or two, or something to get that straightened up.

After that, um....

I dunno what else to do. I've never actually been "ready" for a new expansion with absolutely nothing to do. I had an idea that I might get a 3rd Alchemist on the Horde side; I only have 2 (my Alliance has 3)... that would give me something to Do for awhile, at least. Otherwise, I'm pretty much out of stuff to do, other than a little daily questing here and there, maybe a little farming here and there...

I might even take a break from the game or maybe tinker around on Beta or something. I'm trying to be careful about spending too much time on the Beta -- I have 20 characters, and some of mom's... I don't want to see too much MoP content, otherwise I risk burning myself out way earlier than I need to, then when Live comes, all of it will be "been there, done that" sooner than it should.

I've got a slew of other games I can do... I can dust off old console games, try to get my Wii working in either my room or the living room... I never have played Skyward Sword or Other M....and I'm usually pretty prompt about playing and getting through LoZ/Metroid games. I was also doing FO:NV because I've never seen the DLCs to it, so I started a new game to get up to where I could do the DLCs because I was curious about them...

Um...

I'm running out of things to do! I might even tinker with Diablo3, I still haven't seen any further than the beginning of Act3. Kinda lost interest in it when they started putting in huge nerfs to this, nerfs to that, nerfing your gold looting rate, blah blah blah. Reminds me too much of the massive nerfs they did in Diablo 2 IMO.

RL:

I have Saturday off work, Sunday I work till 5pm... meh. I'm bored now that I'm done with WoW until MoP comes out.

Edit: Actually, come to think of it, if I run out of things to do.. I can always watch more episodes of Watership Down. It was (and still is) my favorite novel ever since I was a kid, the film is awesome too and I came across a channel on YouTube that had the full TV Series that I've never seen before. So, for completeness' sake, I've started on those too.
