I've always been partial to hunters, but I'm currently leveling a feral druid (current level 66) an having a blast. In point of fact, I'm beginning to wonder if this isn't one of the real power classes. Both in dungeons and questing, he seems more powerful at the same level and on the same bosses than any of my hunters or other alts. heir stealth comes early an is very effective, which comes in handy for solo questing.

A druid is everything I expected from rogues and never really liked.

The most OP class?

The fact that there is an expansion coming out relatively soon means you are going to want to play a class that is fun to play, not "op". What happened to playing a class that is fun? Smiley: oyvey

As far as most MMO's go WoW is pretty well balanced. Some classes/combos will of course outperform others, but overall the balance is good. Like others have said, play whats fun for you. Try leveling a few different classes to 20 or so and decide from there.

The most OP class will always be the one you're not playing right now.

For leveling, hunters and warlocks are incredibly easy/simple. You barely have to be awake to quest with them.

For battleground pvp, deathknights and mages are both very tough.

My deathknight does the best dungeon dps of any of my characters.

Druids (#1) and paladins (#2) are the most versatile classes.

All of this (except probably the first line) will likely change with the new expansion.

Simple - easy - Big Damage - Arcane Spec ~ Mage
Slightly less simple - still easy - Big damage - Survival Spec ~ Hunter

And by tough, you mean hard to kill, not hard to play. Right?

Yes. My mage was abandoned by my little daughter, is only level 27, and I haven't gotten around to leveling it.

I have a level 85 Dk, but haven't gotten around to PvP-ing it yet.

I've done a lot of BG's on six other classes or so, and those are the two classes that seem hardest to kill.

(New note, priest is maybe the most OP healer for instances and BG's.)
