The Fisarkventures - Back in AzerothFollow

#1 Apr 29 2012 at 9:28 AM Rating: Sub-Default
So my brother and I returned to WoW after taking a 5 year break, and we've chronicled our return in a series of comedic videos.

The video start out with the first one being moderately funny, but as we get better at the game, so does our jokes :)

We observe the changes between now and then, make fun of features that we made fun of then that are still here and generally just have a laugh playing with each other:

With all respect, that was painful to listen to. Very bland voices with the all too frequent inaudible sections. Jokes run flat and sound more like something two people who are bored and are BSing would say to each other. I will give you props for trying to be creative, youtube comedian is not your forte though. Not everyone can be one, I know I can't, so don't take it personal.

Also coming to the forum and basically saying "LUK AT MEI YOUTUBE SHEW!!! I R AWSUM!!!111!" is generally frowned on from first time posters since they really don't bring anything to the community other than just that one post, maybe another later on when they do their emo rant. I will admit, watching that implosion can be entertaining at times.

Edit: Don't get me wrong, I don't want you to stop posting here. I would love to see more people come and provide topics to talk about and add to the discussions already at hand. I, along with the majority of this community, really could do without people coming along and either just posting youtube videos about themselves or surveys they have about the most mundane stuff. I will say it again, stick around and post some more, just hold off on your youtube links until we get to know you first.

I stopped watching after the "intro-douche-ion," as it became painfully obvious to me that you're Danish, and our humor sucks harder than the vacuum of deep space. Hell, I spent ten years learning non-Danish humor just to stand a chance around here.

I'm not even kidding.

While I'm sure you had a great time recording the stuff, the funny was way too forced and not really funny for those of us who weren't there when you recorded it. I'm guessing you were either really bored or sleepy when you recorded it, or semi-drunk. Never record sh*t when you're bored, sleepy or semi-drunk. Get real drunk and then record it, but switch out the forced funny with pure anger at whatever. Drunken angry person is more fun than bored non-funny person.

Here's how you make a funny playthrough:

Helps that at least two of them are voice actors and all of them are YT celebrities.

Commendable, but it is yet another youtuber fly by and unless they come back to spam more links they're unlikely to ever revisit the thread. I wish we had something akin to the survey policy to cover one post youtubers.

I was reminded the other day that we do have something for people who post trying to get us to vote in contests, so there's that at least.

Ultimately, I'm sure they'll both end up in the same place.
