Fixed. Hmmm, and it was the French guy who came up with this one. Smiley: dubious

Agreed. I've always been a fan of the Black Stallion, even though it's plain, so I'm excited about the black worgen mount. Plus, I'm an obsessive mount collector (160 and counting!), so I'm always happy to see new mounts.

Guess it's time to start working on my Gilneas rep. 5 mounts to go til that damn 100 mount achievement.

I don't really care WHAT the mounts are, but there was a very valid argument that the Horde have it easier by 2 mounts to reach their mount achievements.

It was unfair, and they decided to fix it (rightly so). But what exactly do you give a worgen to ride?

As others have said, Horses are the only mounts that would really make sense. They could have given them different armor or something, but they decided that they'd ride bare-back horses and that kinda makes sense; Gilneas was never really all that much into flashy heavy armor in anything really.

A more feral/vicious-looking horse perhaps?

For all that it may not seem snazzy, horses have been part of the Worgen story since the starting zones. It would be rather odd for the racial mount to be something else; you rode horses during quests, horses drew the coaches and you rescued horses as you prepared to flee (don't say flee too loudly in front of Worgen though).
On the other hand, with their connection to that wolf ancient(Goldrinn?), wolf mounts could make sense if getting an actual mount(other than Running Wild) was only available at higher levels.

Not that they'd want the ********* from the Horde that would occur if Alliance got wolves.

It could be worse. They could have brought back Kael'Thalas as the worgen racial mount. Its "roar" or "ney" would be "Two expansions ago was merely a setback!!!"

Not that they'd want the sh*tstorm from the Horde that would occur if Alliance got wolves.

Not even counting the uproar from Horde about Alliance getting access to yet another one of 'our' mounts, the whole "wolf riding wolf" bestiality connotations would probably get a lot of the more prudish gamers upset as well.

The Clydesdale suggestion up above sounded like a good compromise to me though. I always loved Clydesdales.

No more so than a human riding on the back of a gorilla with a mind control cap on it.

Which now that I think about it, is something that needs to happen. I might even pay for that from the store.
