Can we say, "eeew"?

First off, the Death Knight... that helm looks like a Final Fantasy (dragoon!) ripoff, andthe blue glow looks kinda weird when the rest of the armor is red, orange, and grey.

Second, the hunter. Not sure what's up with the eyepatch for someone who primarily uses ranged weapons, but the rest of it looks OK.

Third, the priest. WTF is with that huge anime-style neck guard?

Fourth, the Paladin: That had better be JUST the Holy suit... what's with them and making Prot/Ret wear Robes in the Tier sets? I'm running around in the middle of combat with PLATE armor. I don't wear freaking ROBES!

Fifth, the mage. Strange little feather in the cap, but meh. It is OK for a Fire Mage, but will look really weird on a Frost or Arcane mage. Maybe they should make armor that looks different depending on your current spec?

Sixth, and last, the Rogue. The Rogue should have had the hunter's eyepatch, it would have fit a lot more nicely.

I like the coloration better than the 359 t11.

The hunter is a bit... creepy. That appears to be a flame walker's (fire-naga's) face for the helm.

And didn't you know? Covering one eye and removing depth perception helps you aim more accurately.

Priests have covered parts of their face for tiers now. Look at Tier 8.

I'm still bitter, though. The concept art was so much more badass.

Well the hunter model is based off one of the bosses, Shannox to be specific. Kinda funny really, it is like the hunter cut off the bosses head and decided "this would be an awesome hat" and popped it right on their head.

Paladin reminds me that you can never please the WoW audience. People hail T2 as the best out there and now people are saying this set is utter crap. While I will admit the color scheme of T2 seems better than T12.

Speaking of color schemes I am not a fan of the how the majority of tier sets are a shade of red/orange. I know, fire theme and all, I was just expecting something more distinct between the classes. Mind you I do enjoy the sets as a whole and look forward to seeing the others, I am just not quite as excited about this set as previous ones due to said reason.

I love how they take a theme from a boss or environment in the raid and apply it to the armor set of a class. That is pretty neat and I hope that theme continues.

The more I'm looking at these the more I'm thinking that they're ALL made to be used with no Helm graphic. There is so much emphasis on the shoulders, with some really cool looking things going on.

My only qualm: it all looks fiery. Yes, I get it - Fire Lands. That doesn't mean that the gear is actually technically FROM fire, nor that it should/would look like fire. Whatever, I still think it's a step in the right direction.

I can't think of anything else but a big 'meh' at the mage set.

Tier11 will be the best looking mage set for quite some time it seems.

Paladin looks more like mage armor than paladin armor, where's the pink gone!? What's a paladin without creepy pink and purple! Smiley: tongue

Hunters are like Hannibal, something I can agree with. Although I'll never show off that helm (not like I ever do anyway).

My biggest complaint is that there's no real difference in the armor types. Plate looks like cloth or leather and vice versa. Rogue shoulders look like they're made out of metal, not leather. Paladin dress looks like it's cloth without the plate touch of the old Judgement set. I'm a huge fan of bringing back robes for Paladins, though.

And what's up with putting huge *** luminescent crystals on Rogue gear? It's as stupid as the neon collar of the Night Elf Cat Form. Why would a character of stealth and subtlety wear gear like that? I'm all for cool armor, but would it be too much to ask for some designers that know what types of characters they're designing gear for?

On looking again, I love how the DK shoulders aren't insanely large and obnoxious like most tier shoulders.

I like the hunter model. Too bad the like "sight" scope thing on their eye doesn't have like a laser everywhere you look, that would be ******* awesome!

Anyways, it definitely looks better than a fish for a head and fish eggs protecting my shoulders.

I do kind of like it. The priest set is odd, but it does look very priest like. It reminds me of something a bishop would wear in medieval times or something. It'll probably look really bizarre on a goblin, but oh well. Can't wait to see what the druid tier will look like.

I agree pretty much down the line about the Paladin set. I like the throwback look of the helmet, but it gets lost in the shoulders, so I'm not sure if it's better on or off - best case might be if the shoulders are the worst itemized so that you can get the 4-pc bonus without them.

I could also deal with going back to a kilt, if either (a) it /was/ a kilt and not a robe, or failing that, (b) the detailing should be obviously plate, or at least some kind of metal.

But that goes back to another complaint, that the visual distinction between different armor types is more muted than ever before.

Druid set has been partially extracted from the PTR patch, missing only the shoulders.

Hell no. Heeeeeell no!

They actually managed to create something worse than the T10 set helmet.

I fear the shoulders. Let's just stop now while we're behind. Smiley: facepalm

If they wanted us to look like a tree, they shouldn't have made tree form a CD. Smiley: rolleyes

Druid set looks hideous, just like almost every other druid tier set.

I went back and looked at some old ones, T1 and T4 were the best druid sets with T1 winning hands down.
