You're not.

It's now gotten to the point where you can't make a negative comment about the developers without inciting name callers. Here's hoping WoW rebounds requiring more servers. Maybe then the discourse will improve as well. Play on.

Are you still pretending that the only reason your post was called out was because of fanboyism? Like I said before, that wasn't it. I gave you a list of very good reasons why it was opposed, and you ignored (or possibly didn't even read) them all.

I'm in no way a Blizzard fanboy. I can, and do, say negative things about them. But when you ignorantly pretend that somehow their offering a new service is a detriment to the community, yes, I'm going to respond to your post and call you out on it.

I haven't seen this level of denseness since I perused the RX7 forums and a Supra guy came in....

Blizzard offers free transfers to lessen the bured on overpopulated servers. Of course they're going to pick the servers with the lowest pop to allow you to transfer to. This why so few people actually accept the free transfers.

Jesus you're dense.

Look, I'll try breaking it down.
Blizzard has servers which are ----overpopulated.---- THESE are the cause of free transfers.
They HAPPEN to have servers that are, from launch, chronically low on players. 90% of the time, the free transfers are to the SAME servers regularly.

Blizzard offers the transfers because of ----overpopulation---- not underpopulation.

To charge everyone in light of 'that which cannot be proven but is there for all but the blind to see' just seems wrong.

They aren't charging everyone. They're only charging the people who want to pay to have the extra convenience. It's NOT like they're saying "We're making everyone pay to transfer their guild, mandatory as of tomorrow."

sub-defaulted for pointing out the obvious? That's a good sign of where the community and the game are going.

So, what - the same direction as always, then?

It is also not really needed to make a new post about getting rated down. If you feel that you want to say something, just edit the rated down post.

Edit: thanks for the rate up (see? How easy was that?)

Edits are only for grammar, spelling and other sorts of fail caused by haste.

Adding more to a topic, a second opinion or reply to other person all call for a +1.
