Ok so turkey time again in wow, problem is for the title, need the turkinator achievement.. kill 40 turkeys. easy enough.. but you have to stack said turkey kills within a 30 second duration to count, for example: kill 1.. find another before buff wears off (turkey tracker) in 30 seconds. im finding it very difficult to even reach 10.. even with the turkey lure (quest item from the event quests has a 2 minute cooldown).

basicly, need help. One possible work around is to have 4 other people with the lure.. summon a turkey every 25 seconds so i can kill it,.. Any other methods you all know of?

in other news.. has anyone ever seen a dwarf rogue?.. i mean ever?!

1: if you play on the horde side the place near SM has a good loop you can do for the kills. However, try to do it really early in the morning. if one or two others are there..and lets face it..no one speaks English when you tell them to "take turns"..they can **** you up.

as for the rogue..try Dalaran. If not..well..you and a friend could roll one..ask for a Port/summon to Dal..and help both sides out for awhile.

It took me a couple tries, but it really isn't too hard. The trick is to do it when fewer other people are doing it as well. If possible, try for the wee hours of the morning.

Edit: Looks like the caller won't work anyway.

Ok, just got this achievement, I have 3 tips,

1. Do it at off-peak hours. I got mine at 3am.
2. The turkey that you summon with the turkey caller does NOT count for this.
3. Horde tip: I started at the Brill Graveyard, worked my way to the lake, followed the shore to the fishing trainer, and then made my way back to Brill. Got 40 Turkeys right at the edge of Brill. If there is someone else attempting it this route might be a dud.

This is where I got it too, and, while you're doing it don't just go careening around twitching at every turkey, like some of us might have done and failed a couple of times, I'm not naming any names. Be methodical about where you're going, plan your path in advance, and patient with the timer. Don't kill the next turkey until you've got 10 seconds or less. By the time you have to start the loop again, some will have respawned.

Being a priest with B&S helps too. :)

I just got this one on the first try on a random route to Scarlet Monastery. I waited for the timer to tick down to around 10, and also tried to plan my next 'turkey' target.
I also used this very helpful macro
/tar Wild Turkey
/run SetRaidTarget("target", 1)
Puts a star over turkeys so you can see them through hills and stuff.

Turkinator is one of the few things out there that's actually easier for horde then ally - hit the undead newby area and it's turkey central.

Of course, today being the first day of the holiday you've got everyone and their mom trying to do the achieve so smart thing is to wait a day or three or, as already suggested, hit it during off hours when there's no competition.

As for dwarf rogues, sigh, well, if there's none in Dal then best bet would be to hit the BGs or if you're really desperate, goto the dwarf newby zone and wait for someone to roll one for their guild (or have a guildy roll one for you).

I found a lot south of scarlet monastery. There's a big field there full of spiders and turkeys.

Also, the food "Tracker Snacks" allows you to track beasts, which is very helpful for this quest.

Good luck!

Edit: Did this again on an alt with no tracker snacks. Its not too hard if no one else is out there. I went to the spider field south of scarlet monastery again.
