I am looking forward mostly towards race changing my human rogue to a worgen. I've always wanted to be a worgen ever since the day I proc'd transforming into one from the book in Karazhan.

I also can't wait for more phasing - it really feels as if my quests had an effect on Azeroth.

I'm looking forward to the Azerothian Flying, the new races: Goblin and Worgen, the new lore with Deathwing, leveling 80-85, all of the new dungeons and raids, and all of the destruction Deathwing is going to cause on Azeroth. I hope to be able to kill Deathwing once and for all! Cataclysm will be a fun expansion

I can only say that I am excited about everything in the new expansion. But if I have to choose what I am MOST exciting about it would be... exploring the new world and trying out the new classcombinations followed by making a worgen and a goblin to try on.

Regards from Sweden

I'm thinking in paying a mad doctor all the money i currently have in my wallet (that being 10€) to perform a crazy sugery on me that puts me in a death-like coma (while he makes some manical laughs), so im taken as dead, had a proper funeral interred and then the mad doctor comes with a shuvell in the middle of the night (stormy and rainy night mind you) to dig me out of my coffin while still making those mad manical laughs, after that ill create a fake ID card (with my new name being Leeroy Jenkins) and using a fake beard, and settle myself in some lost misty village whose inhabittants are very superstitious in Scotland, where i can get all addicted to Cata and play it until i die. Also i would haunt the villagers at night for teh lulz when the servers are down.
(wait and the money to... oh nvm)

I am really, really excited about the Holy Paladin changes! My main is a Holy Paladin, while my first level 80 character is a Warrior, so I am no stranger to melee DPS. It will be a nice change of pace to add melee positioning and Crusader Strike for Holy Power into the mix. Also, I love the idea of Healing Hands (to which I referred to as "Helping Hands" so many times that my friends joked I was working for the United Way) and Light of Dawn.

Guild levels and the perks that come with them are very exciting as well. I have a lot of characters to level, and getting an experience boost along with a money boost will be very, very helpful.

There are so many aspects of Cataclysm I look forward to, but I think I'll start with the biggest one for me. I think more than anything else, I'm most looking forward to starting a level 1 character, and going through all of the updated lore via quests. I want to know what's been happening with my friends down in Westfall, how the Night Watch is holding up, if the Thorium Brotherhood is still kicking around, and, of course, I want-- nay, MUST know where Oralius and Captain Winky are, and if they're alright, because they're my favorite people in Warcraft, period.

Looking forward to raising my main Dwarf Hunter to 85, Level a Worgen Hunter 1-85... Flying in Azeroth, I Espcially like the revamp to old zones, so now leveling alts won't be so boring , now it feels new, alive again def a ++++. I Like the new Guild Perks should be fun. Course the new instances and raids. But leveling 1-60 will feel so new i love it.

Like many other users I am looking forward to exploring new terrain. However, I am not planning to fly over it - at least, not at first. Remember those early days when you starting playing WoW, all those years ago, and came across impassable mountains? Remember the buzz of discovering a way through and finding yourself in no-man's land? Dead zones where the landscape wasn't finished because it was never meant to be seen? Crazy square holes and needle-sharp minarets, with zig-zag texture cuts and a deserted, lunar surface?

That's where I want to go. I want to get on my old Kodo, reclimb those mountains and leap into the unknown. What have those spaces become? How do the zones blend now where before there were only mountain ranges? Some of those areas are huge, big enough to contain whole villages. What manner of strange creatures live there now?

I really want a Key to experience the 1-58 leveling experience. I really want to give my feedback to Blizzard about the content because as most of us know, we players make the game. I will give a TON of feedback on the new starting zones because 1-10 is where most World of Warcraft players quit, by doing this and improving the quality of the game, I can hope to achieve a better World of Warcraft experience for everyone.

I am excited to see the changes to Resto Shaman and how it will pair up with Elemental. I am also interested in having a chance to try out new races. Variety is always a nice thing to have.

What i am looking forward to the most is the improved level up experience!

I have been playing for five years now and the thing i like most about the game is leveling; while some find it bland, boring, and try to get it out of the way as fast as possible, i enjoy the leveling experience more then any other aspect of the game. I currently have two lvl 80s, two level 70s, and a brand new alt, however throughout my time playing, i have had dozens, if not hundreds of characters, who i create just to play and level up, and when i get too full with characters, i wipe some away and start anew. As a rough guess, i would say ive had >5 chars in the 40s, >10 in the 30s, and dozens in the 20s. Most people point out the stupidity of me leveling characters 'Just to delete them' but oddly enough that is what I enjoy about the game.

I am most dearly looking forward to the overwhelming changes cataclysm will bring to leveling, not only will most zone be drastically changed leading to an almost completely new leveling experience, but cataclysm will also bring with it worgen and goblins, new race/class combos to try out, and leveling from 80-85!

I cannot wait for cataclysm and i sincerely hope i can get a beta key!

I'm going to be totally honest here, and this really isn't a troll or anything, but I am not really excited about anything in the upcoming expansion to World of warcraft, Cataclysm. I sat here and thought about everything Blizzard is doing, the zone changes, the quest updates, flying in Azeroth, new races, new class combos, new Profession, etc. and nothing really made me go "WOW, I can not wait for xyz!!!!" I read through some of the posts and a lot of them are saying the same thing, playing a new race, a new class, guild perks, etc. and I pondered for a bit trying to think of something without rehashing the same old same old.

The reality is I'm pretty sad about this upcoming expansion, Cataclysm, because my "home" is being wrecked. All the places I've "grown-up" in the past 6 years will be different, I'll have lost some old friends and familiar places. It's like living somewhere for a long time and getting to know the local flair, the short-cuts, the secret hiding places, and then having to move away. It can be pretty heart breaking. Sure, I'll get used to the new place and eventually it will be "home" again, but it's going to be hard.

That's my two-cents, my entry. I hope that being honest won't disqualify me, I just felt that I had speak my truth instead of saying something that felt like a lie just for a shot at a beta key.

Good luck to everyone!!!

I want to be able to see everything that blizzard has said. The new water details, The lighting around the environment. The new fights to come from raiding/heroics. The new stat system and The difference between what our stats are now from Cataclysm. See how the warriors fair for A.O.E Tanking. Try the new style of paladins through holy power.

Most of all i want to see how the warlock fairs in the overall status of wow. PvE,PvP all the new cc's/the duration of the spells in both play styles. The new gear looks, bonus from using just cloth and how much that will effect a fight. As well as how much ccs will effect a fight if not used/being used.

Being able to view the underwater world. The colors, possibility of new style of fights. Also the quest to be offered in the new world, also the new quest system how much faster that will make leveling for new people comming to wow.

Being able to fly in Azeroth, finally being able to catch that blimp as it rides away!

THE NEW GUILD SYSTEM! This is another high point that seems it will make wow that much more about guilds both big and small. The mass summon (for summons press 1) NO MORE! Mass Rez! this will make the down time minimule. and id love to see how fast raids get back together.

Raiding difference between 10m and 25m.
Thanks for taking the time to consider me for the cataclysm beta

I think the thing I'm most excited bout in Cataclysm is the new questing. Seeing as now it's more like a race to see how fast you can level and just get done with it, I look forward to enjoying the leveling experience and going through the world again and see how much it's changed. And the new phasing makes it all the better, because most of the time in WoW you feel like you're doing everything for nothing, now seeing the world around you change is going to make things much more interesting.

Another think is i really want to see how new raid mechanics are going to work, hopefully they'll be more challenging so even heroic 5 mans can actually be and feel heroic again.

Oh, and how could i forget, Goblin and Worgen? Hell yes!
#295 Jul 26 2010 at 6:45 PM Rating: Decent
From a gameplay standpoint, I want to get into the beta specifically because I would really like to help iron out any bugs I find, as well as make my own observations on class mechanics, talents, etc, and I'd like to make my voice heard, because forums are nice, but at a time like this, forums can only do so much.

Scratch this, I like my previous submission more.

P to the V to he P, PvP.
I dont know many hardcore raiders, and im not one myself. I dont even like leveling. So things like new quests, dungeons etc, dont interest me much. Im PvPJunkie, freak, addict, call me whatever.

Im most excited about the changes that Blizz has announced and will announce regarding PvP! We've have all seen the changes in PvP since vanilla. From (my own opinion) boring and slow PvP when WoW was young to fast-paced action in WotLK!!!

Im a Lock at heart, i read at felfire.com What GC has announced about soulshards, Soul Harvest, Soul Burn effects etc... Those are f***** awesome. Soul Harvest has a bucketload of amazing animation potential, plus if you consider graphics update = excited, very.

PvP

I'm mostly looking forward to the new gearupgrades, the whole process of starting from practically scratch again with everyone on the same level, to slowly getting better again, hoping for drops, and seeing your character grow again. And it looks like this time this will start quite soon, from dungeon level, and not immediately into raids.
#299 Jul 26 2010 at 6:46 PM Rating: Decent
I am most excited about the goblins. I have been waiting to try out the warrior class and between the rocket jump racial and the various charges available the goblin warrior will be the most mobile in PvP.

I have leveled many alts and with the vast changes to azeroth I am looking forward to an entirely redesigned leveling process. The feeling of not knowing what is in the next zone or quest hub ahead is exciting and will really pump some enthusiasm into my WoW experience

Aside from playing as a Worgen, I am VERY excited about all the new and old lore that we will be experiencing first hand.

I'm most excited for rated battlegrounds! I've always loved BGing, and hated Arenas, but there was only so far you could go in BGs. Now I can kick ***, take names, and get the hawt upgrades I deserve for it!
