Man I seriously love putricide, so looking forward to the next wing now. Tricky bosses on normal mode is like a dream come true!
Festergut is pretty much the patchwork of ICC, we killed him at enrage timer with our B squad where we had some people pulling barely 6k and only top 7 or so at 8k+.
As for professor:
Agree with this, pretty much.
He's a fairly entertaining fight, and finally something that feels like a real fight again instead of a pushover or the harder hitting version of said pushover.
Well to be honest if your guild has no situational awareness you shouldn't be killing bosses so that's OK for all I care.

Professor is a bit of an intimidating fight until you get a handle on what it requires. There's really only two things any one person in the group ever has to worry about at any one time. Phase 1 is just adds and slime pools...pretty straightforward. Phase 2 is adds and Malleable Goo for ranged, adds and poison flasks for melee, slime pools and flasks for Putricide tank, slime pools and adds for abom tank. Phase 3 is slime pools, flasks, debuff stacks on tanks, and bawls out dps.
Having done them all now it's really not a bad wing. Not something I would attempt in a PUG. Ever. But definitely workable for guilds that are able to execute on some basics.

Meh, we get better over time...we just have a real slow learning time.
EDIT: That being said, we got Putricide to 14% on 25 man tonight.
