Top-level helm and shoulder faction-related enchants are now available as Bind-on-Account items that do not require any faction to use once purchased (they still require the appropriate faction level to purchase).

I think Blizzard just cut grinding time in half or in threes for some of the more hardcore raiders with this little move. Neat, neat.

I don't understand this change.

Does it mean I can buy these enchants with my DK (who is almost Exalted with everyone in North) and send them to my hunter (who isn't) and he can use them (both lv80) without gaining the rep?

Yes.

That is retardedly awesome. One of the main reasons I'm skiddish about bringing up new alts is having to do the rep grinds all over again. This makes me a happy panda.

Poison and mut talent buffs put mutilate about 15-20% ahead of combat spec with comparable gear. The better of the two rogues in our raids is combat :I

Yay!

I'll match that yay and raise you a wahoo. This was soooo annoying in Wintergrasp.

However, this:

Is what will be getting me to log on immediately. Smiley: clap

About time for the Bulwark flight path too.

Rebirth: The cooldown on this spell has been lowered from 20 minutes down to 10 minutes.

Yay! :D

Now I can use it once per attempt on a boss, instead of once every-other attempt.

That makes me want to cry tears of joy. My dual-spec toons (tank/dps, melee/caster) were dreading having to grind out all the needed factions again for the enchants. It made me want to just give up and focus on less time intensive activities.

Yes, 1k-3k DPS.

They nerf Unholy Death Knights' DPS by 1-2% and then buff Rogues' DPS by, what 20%?

Makes sense...

I assume you are ONLY talking about UB? Because every bit of TC I have seen has shown Unholy to be way better now. There are actually gear levels where it may surpass Blood and Frost. The 10% UB nerf seems like it was unwarranted, but you have to consider how powerful SS has become.

[EDIT]

Numbers for clarification.

The old SS was:

40% weapon damage + 317.5 * 1.3 (with all three diseases up) as magic damage.

The new SS is:

50% weapon damage + 400 as physical damage, with an additional SEVENTY FIVE PERCENT as magical damage (which is boosted by any talents boosting shadow, and is increased by EP. And I've heard that it is considered a second hit, so it can crit separately, even if the first blow doesn't. But the first blow's crit will guarantee the second, or something). This also makes ArP useful for Unholy, which brings it way back up with itemization.

UB's nerf? Not even in the ball park of that buff. 10% of an ability that did 2-4% versus buffing an ability that did pitiful DpS and making it AWESOME? I say HELLS YEAH.

But, idiggory, I'm basing it all on the assumption that Blizzard wouldn't buff Rogues and Death Knights at the same time.

No one in their right mind would do that. Would they?

Since when has Blizzard's actions suggested that they were in the right mind? lol

They buffed rogues.

Clearly they know what they're doing.
