The question about Mankrik's wife is actually one that I was wondering about as well. Nevertheless, interesting stuff. Seems the random dungeon thing won't force us to group with horrible players after all.

I've been quessing that, since she is kinda in the middle of the zone as latitude goes, she might be right in the middle of the schism that separates the two zones, on her own little platform, surrounded by lava. :P

She's too much of a WoW icon now for them to just get rid of her.

Very cool Q&A section there. Answered a lot of questions. The "Random" Daily isn't that bad at all either.

As for this:

A: Right after druids get a hunter form.

It makes me a little sad that Warlocks, apparently, won't get a summonable flying mount (seeing as he only jokes about it and doesn't make any mention of 'perhaps later').

Why would they? The only classes that have flight benefits right now are Druid and DK. If Warlock got one, you'd have to make one for all the other clases.

Now you have me wondering what each "class specific" would have. Blarg this is gonna make me think too much for morning >.<

Well...

Classes that have mounts built into them:

Druids (Flight only, loltravel form doesn't count)
DK (Land and Flight)
Paladin (Land only)
Warlock (Land only)

All other classes have no special mounts dedicated to them. So, if Warlocks got a flying mount, then Paladins would need one too, but otherwise, the other classes probably wouldn't get any.

My question is why? Isn't one enough? I mean sure it'd be nice if Class X had one, but why do warlocks feel they are specifically entitled to a class specific flying mount? I'm not saying they shouldn't, but I just keep seeing this coming from the warlocks like they are entitled to it. They aren't. They should be grateful they are one of the few classes that DO geta special mount.

Warlocks are master summoners. Their entire class is built up around the ability to summon minions from another dimension. Hell, the quest to get the Dreadsteed is about how you learn to summon and control the mighty beast (same with Doomguard).

If they can summon a land mount, surely they could summon a flying mount as well.

Death Knights get both a unique land and flying mount.

It's important to differentiate between unique and included mounts, though.

I would LOVE for every class to have a unique flyer/normal/aquatic mount.

I don't think each class should learn it from the trainer. I'm fine with some having to be purchased (like the DK one) and others being learned (like Druid).

I just want EQUAL mounts. The whole insta-flight form is just so much better than everything else. I'd take an instant mount over a 310% mount. ESPECIALLY if on a PvP server.

For an example of Warriors:

Armored Warhorse or Armored Battle Wolf (I mean HEAVILY armored--a walking tank). Could be available like the DK Gryphon, and cost 1K (or more, if gold is easier to come by in Cata) with default rep with some organization. They could get bladed gryphons/bats/whatever at a different price. And, for aquatic, something like a turtle with a combination of armor and blades.

Doesn't need to be cheap or included as an ability. Just make a unique one AVAILABLE.

Hunters are master tamers and trainers. And I THINK they are getting the skill in Cata (not sure and don't care enough to look). Just because the idea fits into a class, doesn't mean they should get it from gameplay. Mages should easily be able to conjure a mount, if they can do elementals, or teleport anywhere. Etc.
