The latest patch notes can always be found at: http://www.wow-europe.com/en/info/underdev/testrealm.html

General
The Brood Mother Returns
After years of lurking in her lair battling the many brave adventurers who travelled from afar to challenge her, Onyxia returns to commemorate World of Warcraft’s five-year anniversary.

* Onyxia has been scaled to offer new challenges to level 80 players and is now available for testing in 10- and 25- player modes.
* Adjustments have been made to the encounter to keep it fit for modern raiding, but the fundamental experience of fighting the Brood Mother will remain, as will the horror of the Deep Breaths!
* Some classic items Onyxia offered level 60 players will have their stats adjusted appropriately for level 80 players.
* Brood of Onyxia, a very rare 310%-speed mount modeled after Onyxia herself will be available for the luckiest of challengers.

Death Knight
Pets

* Gnaw: This death knight ghoul ability now has a 1-minute cooldown.

Druid
Balance

* Moonkin Form: This form now also reduces the damage the druid takes while stunned by 15%.
* Typhoon: The knockback distance from this spell has been increased to match Thunderstorm.

Feral Combat

* Predatory Strikes: This talent now also causes the druid’s finishing moves to provide a 7/13/20% chance per combo point to make the next Nature spell with a cast time below 10 seconds instant cast.

Mage

* Arcane Blast: The buff from using this ability now stacks up to 4 times instead of 3, and each application increases mana cost by 130% instead of 200%.

Arcane

* Missile Barrage: The effect from triggering this talent now removes the mana cost of Arcane Missiles. In addition, the chance for Arcane Blast to trigger this talent is now 8/16/24/32/40%. All other listed spells continue to have a 4/8/12/16/20% chance to trigger it.

Paladin

* Righteous Fury: The bonus threat from Holy spells caused by this talent has been reduced from 90% to 80%.

Talents

* Judgements of the Just: The reduction in cooldown to Hammer of Justice provided by this talent has been reduced to 5/10 seconds instead of 10/20 seconds.
* Touched by the Light: This talent now provides 20/40/60% of the paladin’s strength as spell power instead of 10/20/30% of the paladin’s stamina.

Retribution

* Seal of Command: This ability now chains to strike up to 2 additional targets when it is triggered by an attack.

Rogue

* Fan of Knives: The damage done by this ability has been reduced by 30%.

Combat

* Throwing Specialization: This talent no longer causes Fan of Knives to interrupt spellcasting.

Subtlety

* Honor Among Thieves: A 1-second cooldown is now enforced on how often a rogue can gain combo points from his party via this talent.

Dungeons & Raids
Shadowfang Keep

* Wailing Guardsman: Screams of the Past will no longer have multiple applications on a target. Recast time has been increased.

Items
Glyphs

* Glyph of Mind Flay: This glyph no longer reduces the magnitude of the movement reduction on the Mind Flay victim.

User Interface

* The size of the Focus Frame can now be adjusted via the Interface Options menu.

Bug Fixes

* Balance of Power: Misleading tooltip reworded. The tooltip previously reported an incorrect value for the increased chance to hit with spells. The actual benefit of the talent is unchanged.
* Divine Aegis: Ranks 1 and 2 now work with Holy Nova.
* Trap Mastery: Tooltip now states the correct amount of snakes summoned.

Is it just me, or is this an INSANELY GOOD buff for arcane mages?

Sounds like a 1% drop :-(

Only for trash and maybe PvP.

As for the mount, I believe a blue said something about being hit by lightning and mauled by a shark indoors on the day that it dropped. So more like 0.1, or 0.01 like the ZG tiger.

For trash, maybe. For leveling and bosses though, I can't see it.

Well I guess they did say they were going to rehash old content, I just had no idea how far back they were going to go...

Bolded for emphasis. Being combat spec (because I can't stand being Mutilate like everyone else) this was a great combo of skills.

I'm assuming this was a pvp rant generated nerf. Bah.

Because Rogue AoE was soooooo overpowered in the first place.

At least now I won't have to pay to respec to FoK interrupt spec every time we do Thorim....

I don't really agree with the FoK damage change, I think its a little steep. I do though think that from a pvp standpoint FoK spec'd rogues we're ******* ridiculous in 5's. So the nerf to the spell casting is amazing.

But, two good buffs to moonkin pvp, and a pretty crazy almost shamanesque (see maelstrom weapon) buff to ferals.

Gnaw one a 1 minute cd is a god send. Thats one less annoying *** trick dk's have in pvp on a short cooldown.

Yay prot healer in pvp nerf!

I'm wondering, what would druids use this for? I can see its PvP applications, with an instant HT or Cyclone or Roots, but shifting out to cast a spell and shifting back wastes valuable seconds and seems to have no PvE* use.

... or is that what it is supposed to be?

Either way, it'll make soloing elites a bit more fun too! Attack until 5 CP as cat, hit an instant HT, and shift to bear.

Edit: Meant PvE

Timing a Cyclone or popping an instant Healing Touch really can turn the tide of a PvP battle. Normally, when you try to cast one of those spells your casting time gets lowered from incoming attacks or you're interrupted. Having that instant cast spell saves you so much time and hassle.

It sounds like a really fun mechanic and I am looking forward to PvPing more as Feral.

WoW's 5th anniversary will be November 23rd. So will we have to wait till then before 3.2.2?

You could maim, HT, cat form. Or Bash, HT, cat/bear. Bash/Maim, Regrowth/rejuv/bloom, Bear, Frenzied Regen (if glyphed).

I see some pretty clever mechanics ahead of us. Plus with the innervate changes ferals don't really need to worry about the mana conservation like they used too. Three minutes is so much better.

So, no word on what we are supposed to do about Nefarion, and the fact you can't really kill him without exploiting terrain (yes, I view going behind the throne as being an exploit), once Onyxia is no longer farmable for the scales?

They need to change Nefarion, or, give us another way to deal with his special attack.

Are Lv60 guilds supposed to not do BWL at all until they are Lv80 and raid-geared at 80? lol.

The AoE interrupt nerf is going to make things like Yogg 0Keeper almost impossible. What are they thinking?

Seems like they are making changes so quickly that they don't take the time to fully think them through.

HAT being nerfed through the ground? Does that mean they might finally start thinking about fixing up subtlety?

I have it up in the wiki as well.

The Onyxia thing, and the 3.2 patch being out (I didn't realize this) makes me slightly tempted to come back to WoW. It'll have to wait until at least October though, because I'm broke right now and I need my financial aid check. =x

Incredibly heavy handed Fan of Knives change. And an absurd buff to ret trash dps (according to the EJ ptr thread, adding more targets causes Command damage to increase exponentially).

edit: with divine storm. It's only every 8 seconds i guess, but it's still four seal procs on each target around you.

That happens to me already :D I'm pretty trigger happy on those Jormungar.

I think ret dps is more or less balanced at the moment, it's most noticable on stuff like Freya, or P4 mimiron. I'm competing nicely with the imp. cleave and whirlwind warriors with a similar gear level, but not blowing anyone out of the water or being left drastically behind on anything. The best (worst because it'll be ******* about) thing about this new SoComm is that the Warrior/Ret/Shaman cleave team is back with a bloody vengeance.

Wha-? Seriously, what the crap? Do they want me to shift out of Cat form and throw a freakin' Wrath or Regrowth after dealing a finishing blow? What the hell are they thinking? We're not Shaman. We need to blow a huge ******* amount of mana to shift out (because we need to shift back in as well). As a Feral Druid, our spells are lackluster at best.

Or is this some awkward way of trying to give us an instant cast Rebirth? How about, you know, making Rebirth instant to begin with?

Seriously, they give us this mega-badger form and after thousands of cries that they at least make the model look like a freakin' bear, they give us this? I... I'm not sure what the hell.

Mazra, you're looking at this all wrong.

Imagine you're fighting someone who isn't halfways retarded in a bg. They see a feral druid and say, "Why, those shreds hurt I think I'll do my best to stay in front of him!" Now, I've done a little feral pvp and I know for a fact not being able to shred hurts. So you open up on them getting a shred off before they move around and you push up to 5 cp and you fb them. Why FB you ask, because you're going to instant cyclone them and not waste your rip ticks by using a cyclone. You're now able to shift back into cat, proccing furor, a second or two of regen and wailing the **** out of them again with shred from behind.

I see so many amazing ways this is gonna totally catch people off guard, its pretty much retarded. Hell I might even start to pvp feral because this is so cool.
