For one, they all still have those stupid side-burns. Seriously, what is up with that?

^^This. Way to embrace the worst part of the model and give it more color to accent it. As for the Tauren bear, anyone else notice that one one side the dangly thing is an earring and on the other its part of the necklace?

Quote:
Some similar colors that may share a particular cat texture will not necessarily share the same bear texture.

You know that the hair color that gives you the cool looking black bear will give you a pink kitty with heart shaped spots.

Don't get me wrong though, I love these changes and am looking forward to spending more time on little level 40 something druid alt.

It is NOW officially time to propose the notion of a Gnome Druid. We could PWN in Housecat form! We like house-plants ... allot! We need healers so we can take back Gnomeregan. Ooo - what about Canary form? Gold Fishie form?

Tauren cat forms are up on the main site.

I'm not sure how I feel about them really-I guess it's the ring in the nose that I don't like. Hopefully that's optional if my Tauren form doesn't have one. I like the bottom 2 though, left and right, I will probably go with one of those. And I do spend a lot of time in cat form, so I'd better get used to them!

Hmm, they're not bad. It looks a lot smoother now which is a definate plus.

Hopefully next tuesday they'll have the night elf forms available.

I will say this though, they look a ton better than what they used too.

I agree. I'm not looking forward to the whole nosering thing. Hopefully (as you said), it's optional.

And yeah, they definitely do look a lot smoother (especially with the mouth more closed). Not sure which I like though.

Vast Improvement! I like the nose rings but I could do without the braids in the main. The armbandswristbands don't look quite right either. The face is much, much better. I hope the night elf cats hold up, It'd be a shame (for me) if the Tauren ended up with both the good models this time.

The one on the top left looks like Scar from the Lion King.

I'm not liking the Taurne kittyforms at all--which I suppose is for the best, since I'm trying to work on my nelfydruid now and don't want to be tempted into rerolling. Smiley: tongue

The faces just aren't catlike enough for me, there's something odd about them.

I think they are going for a bull-like look for this form for obvious reasons. It looks like a cross between a lion and a bull's face.

Wow, I love the new tauren cat form!

The only complaint I have is about the noserings. I can understand the male Tauren druid kitties having noserings, because that is a facial feature option they have. But female taurens...where does the nosering come from? I certainly hope the nosering is optional.

And these new models make me want to pick up playing a druid again...call me vain, but I could never get past the mid 20s on one because I didn't like how much time I had to spend playing as a Down's Syndrome bear.

Yeah I guess it is awkward for us fem druids, but in the same breath, we've been looking like scary wingless inbred male wyverns for years now, so I don't really mind the fact that we'll still have manes and new nose rings =P. It's kinda cute to me, lol.

I'm just riding the happy high that is new graphics for us!

Half of what makes them look so good to me is that they're side by side with that goofy-*** old cat, and just about anything next to that looks great.

The best moonkin form would obviously have to be either the Phaser from Star Trek, or a Velociraptor, but instead of spitting poison we'd spit moonfire and insect swarms.

I would roll off my chair laughing if I turned into a Phaser after casting Starfire.

Maybe it's just me, or just the artwork, but I find the Tauren cat form faces rather baboon-like (especially the one in the top right). Mind you, it's still art, not moving- so it may just be the angle or the way it looks on the plain background.

Okay, call me grumpy, but did they just give us a Lynx model?

Seriously?

I think I'd prefer my old model, thanks.

Hmmm... do the Nelf cats look a little... squinty? It looks like they've got some dust in their eyes and are trying to hold back tears. Actually, the little ball of color right next to their eyes on some models makes it looks like they ARE crying!
