I have no problems before in allowing this mod to run to help update the database here, however after so long without being able to turn in quests when completed I have reluctantly removed this mod from my account.
I will check back in just before Cata to see if it has been fixed to allow the handing in of quests.

Same thing to me, except it says (expected 12340, got 13287). I'm at my wit's end and I cannot wait for WoWReader to be fully upgraded to support Patch 4.0.3.

Version check still failing for me too. Apparently you don't care anymore for new information from WOW. All I can say is, Wow! I guess I will delete the wowreader from my addons, and not check back to Allakhazam for any WOW information. I will be looking to Wowhead.com for all my WOW info. Until the wowreader is updated, the info here will be too old to be of any use.

I've received the same errors (pretty much) as everyone else:
"Version check failed. WowReader is disabled pending update. (espected 12340, got 13329)
DON'T PANIC! If WoW was patched in the last day or 2, it may take some time for a new version to appear.
Please try starting WoWReader again later to check for updates."
I'm running Windows 7 64 bit. If I just click on WoWReader to start it...nothing happens. I have to r-click on it, run it as administrator to get the above error. I've even tried the compatibility mode with no success.
Have they decided not to continue with support on this program? No replies back from forum admins or any developers regarding this issue is not a good sign. Or hopefully they are just too busy working on it to reply? A simple, "We're on it!" would be nice!
v. 1.0.3840.20573 is what I'm seeing in the properties of the executable. Just d/l'd it from their web page.
Hope to hear from them soon.
