When i read that, the first thing i thought was the Lich King had raised Grom as a kind of Death-Blademaster. Is there any reason that can't happen? It would make for an epic lore heavy boss fight.

King Varian Wrynn yells: Enough! I will not stand for this!
King Varian Wrynn yells: Take your flying fortresses back to Northrend, before I crush them with my bare hands!

Whereas Thrall gets owned by a warrior. I think we know who the cooler one is.

A warrior with 800'000 health, compared to Thrall's 5'500'000, no less.

Oh well, that's scripted events for you, I suppose.

Proof the Blizzard has nerfed shamans into the ground.

I'm enjoying the event so far.

Hello Everyone,

At this time, Realm Maintenance is currently extended. We will be posting with an update in a few hours with a time as to when the realms should be back up. We are still actively investigating the issues with player mailboxes and we hope to have the situation resolved and realms up as soon as possible.

We'd like to thank you in advance for your continued patience and understanding as we work to make sure that World of Warcraft is fun and playable to all users.

We're very sorry for the frustration that this extended maintenance may cause.

With the expansion coming out in the next couple of days I sure hope they get the servers back up so we can see and be a part of all the events that are going on leading up to the new expansion.

The fact that Blizzard can do from what I have seen on some of the videos that people posted is a real credit to the talent and skill that the employees of Blizzard have.
That being said...

Mailboxes??? I kinda have to believe its more than that with everything that Blizzard has done and the talent they have on there staff.
At this point I have to wonder if people log on and see what is going on if there mailbox working properly or not is going to ruin the experience for them. Then again sitting here its real easy to complain and I dont want to really do that, I just really want to play ; )

I had no idea this was going on. I tried to get on about an hour ago and couldn't so I checked the (barely available) WoW website and all realms are down. I sure hope they get them back up so I can see this event. It sounds awesome.

Must be neat to live in an alternate reality where Blizzard is successful in applying patches and actually has ANY of their servers up the day of their patch. I know that in THIS reality that the servers have been off line since yester-eve in an attempt to apply patches. At least they saved us the trouble of downloading it and THEN finding out that it does not work so ... in that small blessing I say, "Thank you Blizz :D - U R gr8"

Ok to just recap for anyone who hasn't been to Org. Trall is outside of the area and Lady Silvanis is with Grom's son trying to get him to attack Northrend. Trall says something about his father and he challenges him to a fight in the arena. The fight is pretty kewl I must say but the health advantage is really over done he didn't have a chance.

Then the dragons come and you fight them. No there isn't a drop. You just get 4 rep points with AD thats it which bites. Should have gotten a stone or something at least but nothing.

I know that this rollout has ticked lots of people off but I have to say I'm loving it. I am so excited about WotLK. And I love the build up that Blizzard has done for us. The Zombies were great and now Dragons. WooHoo whats next?

I would have said zombie dragons, but that's what the dragons are. Magical zombie dragons? Damn.

Magical lazer-shooting zombie dragons?
