Why not go from Org->Grom'gol (or whatever)->stonard? via the zep?

The best part of the entire patch.

I have been waiting over a month for this fix...

I can FINALLY (hopefully) hear when something aggros me, I can FINALLY (hopefully) hear battle sounds, I can FINALLY (hopefully) hear mobs spellcasting so I can switch targets and stun without having to watch both the mobs, and my health meters and my chatlog, blaah lol.

Finally. Fin-freaking-ally.

Interesing. I could understand Stonard, it's the way to the Black Portal for Horde (while alliance could fly there via Stormwind to Netherguard) but Theramore? Sounds like we found the alliance port that we're riding to Northrend.

Anyone who has ever done Mount Hyjal understands the reason for this.

We need a way to go smack Jaina upside the head and tell her to shut up after every raid. As a stress relief, because her voice gets old when you hear her whine every minute or so about how "We must hold strong!" or some such nonsense.

Oh yeah, forgot about CoT for alliance. My highest ally's only 65 so hasn't gone there yet except for childrens week. Man, that was a *****. don't know how you guys did it before now.

That, and Theramore is the ONLY Alliance "port" that is in Lower Kalimdor.

Darnassus and Exodar are both in Northern Kalimdor. The same reason why they made Stonard one too; Stonard is the only larger Horde Base in Southern Eastern Kingdoms except Grom'gol.

At least there's this.

A priest on the far side of the zone could use it while you are on the other side of the zone and it would sound like it was being used right next to you.

This is exactly what I was thinking. The only way for us to get to lower Kali is either taking the boat from Booty Bay to Ratchett or from Menethil Harbor to Theramore. It'd just make it a lot easier to port there.

I hated when this happened. Glad they fixed it.

This would be nice. now you don't have to use up a space when you can have stuff that actually buffs your stats.

My entire bank is full of Brilliant Glass that I've been saving for the chance @ an epic. Time to clear up some much-needed space.

Can anyone confirm a change to the riding crop?

I had read on Wowinsider that one of the undocumented changes was to make the riding crop into an enchant-like item that applies to a mount, rather than a trinket as it is now. So, you'd have to have a riding crop applied to each of your mounts instead of equipping a trinket and applying the movement bonus to any mount you use.

Just curious if this went live with the patch or not.

All the QQing Feral Druids might be interested to hear that although scare beast is allegedly an instant case. actual testing reveals it has a 1.5 sec cast bar.

Sounds like a bug if that is the case. Blizzard wouldn't release patch notes saying it's going to be instant and update the tooltip to indicate it is instant without intention to make it instant.

Either way, this isn't just bad for Ferals, but all Druids in PvP. Hunter is now the official anti-Druid. And I don't want to hear another Hunter complain about anything in PvP anymore. Ever again.

The patch notes on the website don't mention it being instant cast.

can anyone confirm whether or not the unique tags on items such as dragonstrike have been removed? i see the bit about "most mainhand weapons are now one-hand" but nothing about removing unique tags. dual wielding dragonstrike o.O

Just tested it myself on my hunter, and yup, it's not instant.

It's a bug for sure, either they forgot to change the actual cast time (as in, it should be instant), or they reverted the change and didn't change the tooltip or the patch notes (also been known to happen).

I'm sure we'll find out soon enough.

edit--
I just used Atlas loot to look up the Master BS 1handers, and the unique tag is gone from the linked tooltip as well. The 2handers are still unique, but not the 1handers.

Just checked mine, no difference. Same with Carrot, no change.

I didn't see it in the notes, but I wonder if they fixed the chat filters?

OMG is that what that sound is? Couldn't for the life of me figure it out. Kept looking behind me because I thought I was about to get ganked.

Well, either Blizzard's patch notes on Scare Beast are wrong or the patch is bugged. I'm gonna guess the latter, since it's easier to write what you intend to do in English than code it.

From Natheara, CM commenting on Scare Beast:

"The change to the cast time was reverted to the 1.5 second cast time. The range is still 30 yards. Please note though that the tooltip still reads that it is instant cast, but this is a bug that will be fixed."

Thanks Geo. Glad to hear it. I wasn't looking forward to making multiple riding crops. Hopefully that idea disappears into the ether.

Portal to Theramore trainer is in the tower where Proudmoore resides, right as you enter. Can't miss the rather attractive high elf there...

Add: Portal to Stonard trainer is in the building to the left of the Wind Rider master, or at 47,55, first floor.

According to this info in WowWiki the chat filters have been fixed. I really hope this is correct.
