Ok we're all here. Who's got key?

"Jack's got it."

"I don't got it, Sandy has it."

"Not me, I thought Bill had the key??"

"..."

Oh, and mine?

Barrens - Let's make a massive zone. For people without mounts. And non-descriptive quests texts. And three towns. Let's also make it Horde, a hot spot for Alliance raids. Oh, and to top it off, let's make the chat channels immune to proper English!

WARRIOR QUESTS: "Hey, let's make it so that every warrior must have 16-slot bags at the very minimum to do their class quests! Let's make it so they need 50 of every item required by the quest, so that each item takes up 3 slots in their packs! And let's send them to 5 different zones in the game, and send them to mobs with drop rates so ***, that by the time they FINALLY finish the stupid quest, they will have out-levelled the armor and weapon's usefulness!"

-Xylia

I really need to agree with you on that. The only good warrior quest is the whirlwind weapon quest. Other than that all the quests are crap.

Yup. If the biggest complaint someone has about a zone is getting ganked, then the zone must be fine. :)

Still new but have my zones to rant about:

Loch Modan: Hey there lvl 15 hunter. Do me a favor and get this ogre's head won't you? Oh, you should bring a few friends. Why? ... Well...you see...the ogre, well he's behind a LOT of other ogres. Levels? Uh...oh I dunno 20-22? Oh they ARE mostly elites, did I mention that? Huh...thought I mentioned that.

Wetlands: That damn bag quest. You want me to do what? And I'll get a what as a reward? Pass. Also, though technically it's a Dun Morogh quest. Incendium ore. Just go to this cave lvl 20 guy and get me some ore. Mind the four hundred giant spiders in and around the cave though, they're cranky.

STV: (whistling to self) I guess I'll go look for these pages. OW! What the---
dead. Ooh, I got one! Wait, one page? I need 4 friggin chapters! Kurzen medicine man? Better kite his *** back into the valley. Got him! Oh crap he fully healed! Run! OW! stupid panther! Run! OW! stupid river croc. WHEW! ---dead. Didn't see the ravine'o raptors there behind that one palm frond.

Redridge Mountains: Go get me this gnoll's paw. He's right over there...behind 1000 of his buddies.

Dustwallow Marsh: Yeah, we've only got two or three things for you to do here. Pretty simple really, just run up the road...can't miss em. Nor can you miss the stealthing spiders or more to the point they won't miss you.

and finally Westfall: We need you to escort this traitor to Moonbrook so he can point at a building. Have him RUN there, what are we savages? What's your hurry? What's that? No, no, he's not retarded. That's just the way he walks. Yeah, I guess it IS more of an amble rather than a walk. Hunh, never really noticed that. Well, good luck.

LOL, I know... in fact, I got killed trying to solo that quest when I was Lv35... damn ogres, they hurt.

Actually, I liked that spider quest. I LOVE killing mobs that don't freaking run away. I got a LOT of XP, and bring big bags, because those spiders drop a TON of awesome vendor trash. One trip through the cave while the spiders are green to yellow will net you nearly 2g in JUST vendor trash!

LOL. Those medicine men are ridiculous... I love how priests with a piece of wood can hit as hard as a warrior with a sword... AND heal themselves to full. Its like fighting 3 mobs in one!

Gnolls? What about those #%*@(@@*#%()@ing ELITE orcs? Or how cute they thought it was to stick orcs hidden behind the rocks on the road RIGHT OUTSIDE TOWN?

I hate stealth mobs, lol. However... they drop white spider meat, which allows you to make Spider Sausage... the easiest 1392+Well-Fed food in the book to learn and make!

Yeah, why can't the guy just say "The huge building in the back, against the mountainside!" instead of walking me down there, to point at it and say "There!". Um, dude. Its the largest building in town, do you think I'd miss that, and the giant "We're in here!" Sign when you step in?

No, the worst part about that Defias Traitor quest? People like me.
I'm Horde. And when I'm in a bad mood? I go to Sentinel Hill. And I'm a rogue, so I sit there. And wait for someone to start the quest. Then, just as they get out of town...
I one shot the defias traitor with a ranged weapon and vanish. So as this person runs along marrily, their escort suddenly DIES. Apparently for no reason.
It's meniacal.

More to the topic, Zangar Marsh. Blue mushrooms, everywhere. For no real reason other than a theme. Sporelings? Why do I want rep with them again?
Oh, and the World PvP in this zone seems real fair when the Alliance outnumber the Horde 2 to 1. The only time the Horde can own that place is at 3am when I'm out there capping it and there's nobody to stop me. Stupid Blizzard. Stupid Alliance.

I'm going to Sentinel Hill.

My take on The Barrens, from a Horde perspective on a PVE server:

*alot of walking from quest point to quest point*
Defense channel: The Crossroads is under attack!
General Channel: "Ur mom was raped by C huck N orris!"
Defense Channel: The Crossroads is under attack!
General Channel: "Where is Mankrik's wife????"
*walks through the Crossroads, to see that is really under attack, by two 60ish level Alliance. Usually there a few corpses of level 12 players too stupid to flag and think they can take them on lying at thier feet*
Defense Channel: The Gold Road is under attack!
General Channel: "L00k 1 c4n sp33k l33t! L33t FTW!"
Defense Channel: The Crossroads is under attack!
General Channel: "Does any1 no wher to find Mankik's wif?"
*Walks into Rachet to turn in her raptor heads to the sneaky looking Goblin quest giver, and...*
Defense Channel: Rachet is under attack!
*...sees a few level 13ish noob Alliance and Horde starting a skirmish next to the bank, and getting a beat down by the Rachet Goblin Bruiser guards. LOLs, and makes a note to self, not to start sh*t in the neutral Goblin towns.*

If this was PVP server, add about 20 extra lines of "The Crossroads is under attack!" spam and quadruple the amount of dead bodies you see lying around the towns. And also add a stealthed level 60 rogue in the Warlock quest giver tent.

LOL those orcs outside Lakeshire are uncool. Got owned by them a few times early on. White spider meat? No idea it existed, where do you get the recipe for spider sausage, I'm all about that. And the guy that one shot's the traitor? Dude, that ain't right, it's REALLY funny, but it ain't right. If I were horde I'd consider doing that. Must find a similiar thing horde-side and ruin some uglies' day. Heh.

Spider Sausage is taught by the Cooking Trainers, I believe it requires a skill of 200 or 225. It heals 1392 HP over 27 Sec and gives Well Fed (I think 10 Stam/Spr, but I might be wrong. It might be 12, I forget which).

It requires 2 White Spider Meats to cook... any spider in Dustwallow can drop White Spider Meat, as can the spiders in Swamp of Sorrows.

Redridge Mountains: Here's some quests to kill orc leaders and while your at it take their axes and orbs. Oh i forgot to tell you 3 orcs were waiting behind a rock to ambush you? sorry about that. Oh your dead again? Oh sorry i forgot to say that the orcs were elite 20's that take a beating like they were elite 30's. Dead again??!! Oh you say they are always in a group of three, and there is no way you can solo it, hmmm... arent you in a guild or something. Thanks alot blizzard for making the #1 reason people get in a guild is for the elite redridge quests. And why are they not marked elite or group quests?

Here's something else for felwood. There's only 1 FP. Yet you end up going all the way north for griding timbermaw rep or for some gathering a rare plant quest. But then have to go all the way back south to the cenarion camp. Well then, since you are at it, lets have you go to winterspring for a turn in to mess with you more!

TARREN MILL - This is a Horde zone you say? Then why is it always full of Alliance? And where are the Horde NPCs? Oh they're dead already. May as well try to level my Horde in IF.

Or, my first experience of Tarren Mill as an alliance:

TARREN MILL - You are now entering: Tarren Mill. You gain 265 experience points. Wtf are all these bones doing here? Was there a lot of PVP here? Oh, well, I'm walking along the road and I don't see anything around. This must have happened earlier. *rogue coming out of stealth sound as two ?? guards unstealth next to me* Oh...crap...! *schwack! schwak!* *dead*

Oh, so THAT'S why there were so many dead bodies around. D'oh!
