Treasure Chest LocationsFollow
I was curious if anyone knew a mod, or website that had the locations of treasure chests within an area. The "Solid Chests" that spawn in various place, usually surrounded by mobs. I was also curious what the varying spawn rate is of treasure chests, and if a treasure chest spawn shares spots with every chest in the zone, or just a couple of spots. Any help would be appreciated. Thanx.
To my knowledge, there is not a mod that will display every chest in a zone.
Not only is it useless, since you wouldn't know if the chest was up or not, it is lazy.
I do remember Gatherer storing locations of chests that I encountered, but it did not come pre-loaded with the locations of all chests in the world.

I wouldnt want to know where a chest is exactly and when, just the POSSIBILITY that a chest will spawn in a specific spot, and more importantly, which spots are shared with one specific Chest spawn...and ultimately the approximate time of a spawn of a chest.
It has nothing to do with being lazy, just wanting to be efficient in my farming, and being able to know when I missed a chest spawn and to look somewhere else would be nice to know.

As PsiChi said, Gatherer will track all the chests YOU have found - so you can install that and start building your own database of chest locations.

Yeah that's one of the perks to being a Dwarf. Just a little added reward.
But I'd agree with the others to just download Gatherer.. what you're considering almost sounds like something illegal (in the game.. you know what I mean). But yeah, there's not a whole lot else you can do.
