pfft. nevermind, some reading and found out I could fix it from the WTF config file.

Go to your WoW directory, and find the WTF folder, in my case:
C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\WTF
Open the config.wtf with a text reader and find SET gxResolution and change the value in the quotes. Should fix it.
