I'm interested to know why you want to solo an instance... By the time you can solo them the loot is totally outdated and worthless. I guess maybe for enchanting mats, but for straight farming it isn't really that good until like 60 iirc. Anyways, I think you can solo WC at your level, probably SFK depending on your class. But, again, why you would want to when the gear (and gear from quests) you'd get would be pretty dated... Now, i'm horde so I can't speak for the alliance instances, but you could POSSIBLY solo Gnomer at 40, but i'm not too sure and again it would probably depend on your class.

Tomec, at 40 you should be able to solo Deadmines (VC) and possibly WC. He's probably doing it for the green drops and cloth drops, which actually fetch a fair price at the AH at that level. However, there are other, and IMHO better, ways of making money by level 40.

When I first soloed an instance it wasn't about money or gear, in fact I didn't pick up half the drops and vendored the rest. It was about accomplishing something new and that great feeling of doing on my own what normally takes a group.
Just sayin'

RFC can be run solo by around level 25 depending on class.
The loot there is junk though. LoL

I should try WC on my 39 Warrior though since I never finished all of the quests in there. :P

I went and did some low-level instances a while back, just 'cause I could. I don't group much, so I didn't get a chance to experience Deadmines and such when it was actually profitable to do so. Soloed Deadmines, Wailing Caverns, and Blackfathom Deeps. Got some stuff for a couple low level alts, but most of the stuff was vendored, auctioned, and disenchanted.

Even doing it for the quests isn't worth it. By the time you can solo an instance, all the quests are gonna be grey. If you're gonna do it, do it because you want to, and don't let anyone tell you otherwise. ;)

Yes, you can. Even if you can't, what's the worst thing that can happen? You die and rez at the angel. The first time I soloed VC, I was L34.
