Pvp system makes this WAY too easy. I have a grand total of 6 epic mounts, and still a **** load of marks with nothing to buy.

Me thinks you just BG too much.

I mean that's 360 BG tokens just for those 4 mounts. Yeesh, oh yea grats.

The Wintersaber is technically a vendored mount. Got that?

I think what he means is he has 1 of each race's mounts. He may mean that he earned them strictly through the honor system, in which case he would not have "every vendored epic mount" but rather 1 of each TYPE of mount.

Even with the lower price, getting truely every vendored epic mount from all races on your side would be excessive. I thought I had too many just with having 4 of 'em... I can't imagine having over a dozen

What he said.

I play casually and I have around 20 AB/WSG marks. AV marks are harder to get as the queue is 20-30 minutes.

that's terrible :/

with the cross realm pvp it never seems like I wait more than 30 seconds for an AV invite.

Mmmm...

And grats on your digital bits of data that you spent hours and hours and hours getting at the expense of your actual life so you could come here and post about them, your sense of accomplishment must be staggering. Im sure all your epic gear is lovely too. Your family, peers, bosses, teachers, and your significant other must be proud and in awe of such pinnacle accomplishments. You are truly amazing.

Go outside once and awhile...

LOL @ Supei

Do you feel proud to be able to insult others in an online public gaming forum? Are you able to sleep more soundly at night? Your family, peers, bosses, teachers, and your significant other must be proud and in awe of such a pinnacle display of insults at the expense of others. You are truly amazing. No really.

I live in Tennesee and it's Winter break so I'm out of college (normally I'm studying too much to even think about playing WoW, being a premed major and all), gg.

Yep.

I work during the day and play wow during the week night or go hang out with some friends. And actually, this is the first week I've ever been in a relationship with someone. So...

That may be true, but in actuality the new PVP system is just quite frankly too easy to get rewards.

I find AV marks the easiest to get, have earned over 100 across 2 characters. Win rate is 90%, maybe a bit higher. This is despite a queue that's usally between 45 and 120 minutes, so I get quite frustrated when people want to finish it in a 15-minute rush to 'get marks and requeue'. I'd rather get the full honor bonus and enjoy some solid PvP but people are obviously there for different reasons and perception really varies as to what's easy or hard marks and good or bad for honor.

I assume you play horde. I think they'd have faster queues since more people play alliance.

20-40 min queue times for AV for me.

I'm Alliance and we're 4 to 10 min queues but I'm sure we're not the norm. The really upsetting thing is that when we were on Single Server BG's our server had faster queues than after XBG's. The only exceptions to that were really really late at night. Oh well, I guess I can go from 2-5 mins to 4-8 mins so that some of the other servers in our BG have better queue times.

I'm looking for ways to burn my AV Tokens. Hell I've already spent 60 tokens on a Tabard!~ I really hope they make the potions and bandages buyable with just tokens, that would solve all my problems.

Hmm, good job I guess, although on horde side I'm only really condidering a Raptor and a Wolf. Kodo doesn't looks black enough, kind of grey and the undead mount is not one bit better than all the rest.

Raptor is best ofc.

Other than that... Well, AV marks seem to be pretty hard to get for me. Looks like horde side has it a bit tougher in AV these days, the bridge near alliance base was always a painfully annoying place.

First off, a big gratz to you Shao, huge accomplisment!

Secondly, guys, fill me in please. *lifts up rock*

Since the new PvP system I have abandoned my Shaman (who btw, has qty zero epic mounts).

My question is, what is required to get an epic mount now? What are the choices available to a Tauren?

Thanks so much for your answers, if it's easier to do now, I just might go farm some bg's for awhile!

Same here, but I'm in the same faction and battlegroup as you.

I even saw Tyrandor once in a BG. Smiley: grin

Well you have to buy the training, which is at least 720 g. The mounts themselves are about 90g to buy, or 90 BG tokens to get a Black War Kodo/Wolf or an AV Frostwolf.

Hey, I love this game as much as the next guy, and I come to these boards for information like all the rest of you. But the moment any of you guys hear me REACHING for attention regarding any in game "accomplishments" I feel I have achieved, will be a cold day in hell. When I want somebody to hear about what I think I have accomplished (and beg for recognition like this guy is), I talk about how well I handle my real life responsibilities, not how "easy" it is to get video GAME items. The guy is trying to show off, its plain as day, but in reality is a sign of immaturity and misguided priorities.

Want to impress me? Post about how much time you spent with your family this week, not how much time you and your twinks spent in the BG's...

I find it funny you say it would impress you if the post would be more about time spent with his family. This is a World of Warcraft message board so he posts about his World of Warcraft accomplishment. I fail to see a problem here.

Congrats Shaolinz. You have done something, that I am currently in the process of trying to complete. I don't get to play very much, but I can't wait to get my kodo and raptor.

horde? horde's AV queues are way shorter. im on Stormrage alliance and the AV queues are 40+ minutes whereas horde is >1 minute.
